moules Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 My understanding -- and not to be relied on if you are a Ukrainian citizen -- is if you were a Ukrainian citizen in Spain prior to Feb 24, 2022, you can stay indefinitely. If you are granted refugee status, you can stay indefinitely. Otherwise it is Schengen rules, you are allowed to stay for a 90 day period every 180 days. And, of course, there are additional allowances if you are in Spain on a student visa. Also, she may have an older Ukrainian passport that does not have biometric data in the form of an embedded chip.
