@StnCld316 / @moos54 we have another spammer

Tap the three dots and then select report and spam
The more people who do, the faster they disappear
I think it's set to autodelete after three reports

I understand, but if you quote it the spam link will still be there

No it won't, Steve will get rid of it, that is what he has done with the previous spam posts I have reported & tagged him in, I only tag one, not all of them, it does bring it to his attention quicker

I read it right the first time.  If you look at the comment that he's replying to, moules tries to use the total number of comments posted on CamCaps to reflect the overall popularity and subscriptions numbers of RLC,  Jackpo counters, that the number of posts on the forum doesn't reflect subscription numbers because a single poster can post many comments, but it's still one subscription.  Also, that many posters on CamCaps don't even have an account.  I've copied his comment below and added some edits in brackets to try to help you understand what he's saying:

Historically, it would have been good. Also, comparing with CC posts doesn't give you the right picture (regarding RLC subscriptions). A person with premium subscription (to RLC) can post 100s of posts in CC. But at the end, he is only paying his/her monthly fee (to RLC).

I have also seen so many people posting in CC say "that's why I haven't subscribed to RLC" - meaning not all people who post here are subscribing to RLC

My tabulation of the number of CC comment posts for a particular apartment was in a response to a suggestion that RLC might be phasing out the Barcelona apartments / villas.  And I characterized the tabulation as a crude proxy for the number of RLC subscribers whose watching was focused on certain individual apartments.

And I will underline crude proxy.  But there is no escaping that the number of CC posts for most of the the 15 singles/couples apartments are very low.  Ten of the 15 current singles/couple apartments  came on-line before Jan 1 2024.   Excluding Leora and Linda's apartments which have high post totals, the other eight apartments have collectively a total of about 8,000 posts.

Going back to the archived Russian apartments, Leora and Paul had 61,100 posts over six years.  Kristy's apartment was second with 37,000 posts.  Third was Nina and Kira with 10,000 posts over five years.  All the rest of the Russian apartments that were closed in June 2019 had under 10,000 total CC posts.  For example, Dick and Jane had a total of 4,300 posts over 15 months.

For the record, Masha's apartment, over nine years, had a total of 41,500 CC posts.   B-4, over roughly the same nine year period, had 10x the number of CC posts that Masha's apartment had.

I don’t think any of that means anything…the overwhelmed majority of people that watch RLC don’t post or care for CC, or know about it. On top, only a handful of people really post here, same all people…so none of these statistics mean shit
