Holy cow!!! I'll bet that Rollex uses a 60" screen for a monitor just to see it.

I had a bicycle with a large basket on the front and 2 more like saddlebags on the rear. I used to stuff 200 papers in them. It fell over on me once. It was like trying to pick up a full dressed Road Glide. I'm sure glad we didn't have any hills around here.

Wow, Rollex, you make me feel like a young punk again. Continue with your WWII stories. Glad that you at least had a bicycle. I'll assume it had wooden spokes, too.

Personally, I remember when wagons, Tonka Trucks, and automobiles were made out of metal instead of plastic.

And telephones were on the kitchen wall, one per house if you were lucky, probably on a party-line, and clerks could make change all by themselves without electricity.

Man, ww watcher. What you been watching anyway, erotic tales? I wish I had seen a young lady getting off on her bike (Of course I was rather naive in those days so I probably would have thought she had a painful itch!).

My best story was summer camp when I was a waiter and playing with the breasts of a young, but very bosomy camper outside on the basketball court seats. She was 14 , I was 17. We didn't care who walked by. Lucky I kept my job, lol!

Hey Foamy, you haven't ridden horses much? I rode a bit over the years. We have a dude ranch we used to go to in upstate New York where I rode. You don't walk well for a while after that. It was fun. My daughter even rode. Not my wife, she is a city girl through and through.

You must be talkin' 'bout me 1010. I had to be the most naive kid on the planet, until I was 14, then all hell broke loose. I tasted pussy and got my first BJ. I think I came as soon as she touched me.  :idk:

I enjoyed reading this thread.  I am 76 (physically--mental maturity is closer to 12).  So I remember even the comic books and Saturday day morning movies (12 cents) in the 40's.  Going through my teen years in the 50's, no one was ever more horny and accomplished less with the girls than me.  In my mind, I stripped and screwed every good looking one of them and married half of those.  I remember when I was around 9 or 10, I lived in an apartment building, and several of us kids would find a girl--usually the slow-witted one that lived nearby--and we would play a game that had two names: either "The Heiny and WeeWee Game" or "You Show Me Yours, and I'll Show You Mine".  Invariably, she would first show us hers, and then we would all run away.

I remember the first TV set I ever saw--a neighbor who lived across the hall from us in our third-floor apartment.  The TV was as big as a large chest of drawers, and the screen was a little six-inch black and white screen.  We would all sit around and watch wrestling, which was the only program, I think.  The only other thing to watch was the TV Channel ID screen that would come on and stay on for a few minutes at the beginning of a broadcasting day (actually, just a few hours of broadcasting each day).

I could go on and on either about life in those times, or about (usually miserable failure and sometimes humorous) sexual encounters of that era.  Mostly, the girls I wanted, I was too scared to approach or do anything with.  I was fairly athletic and good-looking and smart, but was a champion of the Nerds.  And the few girls that wanted me, I just wanted to be polite but avoid simply because they didn't turn me on, or the challenge was missing.  I felt bad about that in later years, because those girls were really nice.  When I was in the Army for almost four years, one of them hand-knitted me a sweater, and she was so sweet--and from a good family and she was good looking.  I still feel sorry after all these years that I didn't follow up with her after my military service; I think she wanted to marry, and I just drifted away.  But after all those types of situations, I met somebody, got engaged in four weeks, got married three months later, and we have been married almost 50 years, with lots of children and grandchildren.  So things have worked out.

While 18 years younger, I can certainly relate to most all of that. Great story!

Isn't it funny? The ones you want, don't want you. The ones that want you, you don't want them. Then the right one comes along. 28 years together and no one else would want us now. We're too damned ornery.

Things would have been different in the old days for us old-timers if there had been internet porn back then.  The mystery would have been off, and we would have seen girls for being human, sexual, creatures--not that different in attractions and desires from men.  Instead, I grew up an only child with no sex education.  Girls were on a pedestal and no sex was to be had until marriage, if she was a "good girl"--and I couldn't even make it with the "bad girls".  So I put any girl I was attracted to on a pedestal as an un-obtainable idol.  Boy, things would be different if I were back in those old times again!

"Better a lost opportunity than to invite disaster." Stilgar, Na'ib of the Fremen of Sietch Tabr, Frank Herbert's Dune.

Many of my High School friends, who had the gift of gab, are working on their 2nd or 3rd wives and 1st or 2nd child support. Though I was 29-30yo when I met and married (5 months between met and married) my first girlfriend, we've been at it for 30 years now. That's the good part. The bad part is I have seen more naked women (not including the wife and daughter) and been offered more sex than I ever did as a single man.

Had I not had read many of your posts over the last couple of years, I might question the second half of that.

But seeing as I have, I can just about figure that you are a good person and I'll read it as intended. Some of the rest of these guys?.....Well....
