I think they recognized a significant drop of viewers in Sofia because the other appartements were even  much more interesting last weeks than they are usually. So nobody watched Sofia

Wouldn't surprise me if they're going to abandon this apartment and set up a new one in Moscow.

Dont think they will abandon it. They care a little more about it lately. So I am carefully optimistic they will do things to improve it
