vlkvlk111 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Yes, looking closely, I believe them about the increased resolution. Static objects are definitely sharper and crisper. However the compression is terrible, and on any moving object (like an actual human beeing), the net effect is actually worse. 2

I dont think we are doubting the sharpness of the picture is noticable, but watch how it deteriorates when there is movement or the lighting is low. Ive seen 1080p webcams and this is just not cutting it. 2

You got to give them credit for that I think thats because someone is actually writing a response now rather than the usual automated reply we used to get. There are baby steps improvements happening, maybe we will get there in the end but at what cost ? 1

Sulzer Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Look at cam 4 5 in the kitchen with no one there, very crisp image and sharp you can almost read the labels on the products. but when Gina was in there it went pixelated. 3
vlkvlk111 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 I really encourage you to write to them if they have the same problem, so they can see it is not a client side issue (if only a few people report this, they may believe it is a bandwith issue on our side).
