I think she's been in Barca for a while and her boyfriend is Spanish. The reason i believe that is she'd only been in B2 for 2 days, she's only been out a couple of times on her own, and she ends up with a bunch of red roses. Surely she couldn't work that fast on her own. So I think it's someone she met before B2. The other reason is that she speaks fluent Spanish...She was having a conversation on the phone the other night....unless she a quick learner at that too...

I'm just speculating here, based on what I've seen...
