All recent cast having been basically the same "burn the candle at both ends" type of girls, it is actually refreshing to have someone with an apparently healthier lifestyle. I am not too concerned with the shyness here, it is not like she hiding in the same fashion as miss X, or even girls like Sia. It is not that uncommon for completely new girls (remember most of the recent cast have been recurring girls). Hopefully she'll relax a little more.
