I really like your point about the number of posts and the relevance, or lack of, to RLC and CC membership. There does appear to be a few that are very vocal, prolific posters, that obviously don't have RLC membership and are making assumptions based on delayed images and 2nd or 3rd party comments. You are also right about there being no rank structure. However, if I can use my personal experiences, the Army does have a rank structure, but we also have what we call SMEs (subject matter experts). So I might be an officer, but will take directions from a sergeant who is a weapons SME, or a corporal who is a comms SME. CC has it's version of SMEs.
