Is voyeurism a disorder? The short answer is, "It can be." I think Psychology Today magazine said it best in layman's terms. Voyeuristic disorder is one of several psychiatric sexual disorders known as paraphilic disorders. Paraphilic refers to sexual interests, preferences, fantasies, urges, and behaviors outside the norm; these are considered symptoms of a disorder only if they are acted upon in ways that have the potential to cause distress or harm to oneself or others, especially others who have not given consent. That's what the scientists and researchers are finding out. The same article that provided the previous information, also said that women with larger Skene's glands squirted more easily and more liquid than women with smaller prostate glands. It even said that some women have no Skene's glands and they don't squirt at all. That's what the research and evidence is telling them.
