Woke up to 48F this morning. Too cold for my old ass. As long as we don't drop below 40F, the citrus should be okay. I have 6 pineapple plants in the backyard and a fairly new grapefruit tree. It produced 7 pieces of fruit this year. The pineapples take a couple of years to grow and near a year to ripen. Now, if the new puppy would quit eating the leaves...

It warmed up to 55F here. That's up 2 degrees from this afternoon. Forecast to be mid 40's overnight. I guess I'll have to close the guest room window or I'll hear the shit. The wife wanted the heat on. I told her I would stay in the guest room with the window open and the door closed. I can snore to my heart's content and not get kicked. It doesn't matter. I'll be up at 02:00 for work anyway. I want to be on the road with my first load delivered before the office amatures come out of the house.

She may not be all that lonely. Some of us do well alone. I spend a good portion of my day alone at work and when I get home. Wifey is the same way. That's why we're still together 31 years later. We are both loners to an extent, but still need someone around once in a while to give shit to. Yeah, I could live without her, but I really have no interest in that. I'm quite happy with her.
