We have 3 clubs down here with the same branded name and they used to have amateur nights. But it seems the boyfriends and husbands got mad if someone said anything bad or out of line to the girls. Many fights were had in the parking lots. If you're going to put your girl on stage, expect criticism. If you can't handle it, don't put her up there. And to the guys that did boo or say something out of line, STFU. If you can't say something nice to her then keep your trap shut. It just may save your teeth.

I don't know how much of a difference 8.0 is over 8.1. I'm using 8.1 here under the recommendation of a fellow member from this board and love it. When 10 is offered out of Beta form, I'll most likely update both the 8.1 and 7 machines to it.

There isn't a single girl in that last set that was even close to saying no too. They were all gorgeous.

Hey Rodent. I have a Circa 1940's?, maybe Royal mechanical typewriter. It weighs near 30 lbs. Any idea what it's value is? It's going on FleaBay in a short time and I have no clue where to start the bidding. Woody, If you read this, I have to say thank you for posting #246 & #251. They are both true tributes to the artistry and culture of a long bygone era. I must say that I'm proud to have been apart of this culture and a performer of much of this music. The people of today don't know how to sit with their eyes closed and their minds open to the beauty of what is real music and not the extreme noise that blares out of their over-powered sound systems. The Denon system I have in my living room makes you feel like you are in the concert hall itself. You hear, feel and actually see the music in your minds eye. You just need to be taught how. Real music needs to be felt, not so loud that it blows your eardrums out. A round at the Bar on me, Mates. We don't serve up the cheap shit or watered down swill here.
