I would think RLC doesn't mind "too" much about photos, but the videos give them nightmares (why spend $45/M on RLC if you can join CC for $12/y ?). As much as I hate to admit it - if I was running RLC I'd do the same thing.

It appears that "coke boy" is back again. Kami and him left the apartment a few minutes ago :( ...I'm afraid Kami isn't going to have an easy time getting rid of this guy - or worse, maybe she really doesn't want to.

They are obviously increasing the frequency of the watermarks which will make it more difficult to record videos. A lot of being able to see them depends on the background colors, which is why they move the watermarks around on each flash. Taking photos is a bit trickier with more flashes but still possible to capture images between them. I think, right now, they are trying to make it harder to take videos by increasing the frequency of the watermark flash. That, and moving them around the image, will make it easier for them to capture the codes. PS: They might also be linking the frequency of the watermarks to the motion sensors... more movement = more watermarks.

I wish I could agree with you, but the guy sleeping in the bedroom isn't the Guest #2 that was living in the apartment this past month or so. He's not there tonight for whatever reason. Guest #1 is on the couch with Hector, and we have already figured out he is Hector's brother. Guest #2 has only been in the apt for about 4-6 weeks, but he mysteriously disappeared over the weekend. This guy in the bed is new.

Been watching Lev and Taboo on the couch off and on all evening - with Zoya at the computer desk. I have to believe Taboo is a close relative - probably sister. Too much closeness, laughing and giggling, and Taboo likes to touch Lev, stroke his hair,etc. It's just not possible to think anything else with Zoya in the room. I'm just making a scenario up here, but maybe Lev and Taboo's childhood wasn't so perfect and Lev was his sister's "protector" so to speak? That would form a very close bond. Or maybe they were close for other reasons I won't mention - but they are definitely close and Zoya seems to put up with it.

Tough visit for coke boy. Kami was sitting on the bed and CB on the floor as they were talking. At one point he started rubbing Kami's ankle, and she took his hand and removed it. It looks like they had a few words about that - but calmly. When he left, it took about 10 minutes as he tried for a hug, apparently wasn't careful about her ear, tried more than once for a kiss - only got one on her forehead... and then he hung around the door trying to get a hug again - she finally had to almost push him out the door. I'm proud of Kami... if coke boy wants another chance, he's going to have to make some permanent promises which will be a lifestyle change for him, something I don't think he's willing to do.

She's much happier too if you notice. She's lighter, bouncier, much younger looking :) You can actually see a weight has been lifted off her shoulders. I hope she now realizes that when the right guy comes along, she will even feel more ecstatic :)

I think I finally have Lev figured out. Although I don't like the guy for a few important reasons, he wins Zoya's affections by making her wait. The girl gets ready for sex hours ahead of time while Lev plays soccer (yeah, I know) and then when he is ready to go to bed, he lolly-puts around making Zoya crazy for some action. Got to give him credit on this one...

I understand Demid has probably been in the RLC fold for a long time, and he's important enough - or at least respected enough - to have his position permanently. That does not, however, excuse his "greater than thou" attitude he flaunts at the viewers. If he's so important, give him a free apartment with no camera's. He makes the "protection" of himself and Dasha so obvious, he detracts from being part of the 14 apt group. He may be a fixture (pun intended) but I don't have to like him.

Harley and Benford, We'll just have to agree to disagree. The good thing here is we can each vote with our wallet, believing what we wish. Proof is hard to come by, but time will at least "suggest" who was right in the end.

Not necessarily taking issue, but what is wrong with a girl taking advantage of a free apartment and deciding she doesn't want to have sex in front of maybe 10,000 people? For that matter, what's wrong with a couple deciding the same thing - or to have their sex under the covers like D&D? Sure, it's disappointing to us, and we wonder why they took the offer if they weren't going to be totally open - but if anything, this proves RLC is not scripted. Why? Because if it was, one of the questions on the application would be "Are you willing to have sex in front of the cameras?". That question is not here or else we would have 14 apartments with open sex. Although we expect to get something for our $45/m it can be argued forever whether we are getting our money's worth. If I were able to count how many sexual encounters (without covers) happened in a month, and how many Bate sessions (open) happened in a month, across the 14 apartments, I would guess we're paying about 50 cents to a dollar for each one. Maybe to some that is too much, to others it's worth the cost. The main point is, we might be expecting an awful lot for our payment, or we might not. The only conclusion we can come to is what I said the other day... RLC is making money - lots of it, so it's safe to assume most subscribers are content with the cost and what they get. Our wallet is the only vote we really have.
