You conveniently left something out of this story. California state law allows ballot harvesting and Republicans are contending that these boxes are just part of their ballot harvesting campaign. It is Democrats who claim this is illegal while Republicans contend that it is legal. The legality or non-legality of this practice will most likely be resolved in court. Like I said before, require people to vote in person and then you don't have these problems.

That's just more evidence as to why we should not allow large scale mail-in ballots. Everyone should be required to vote in person unless they are physically unable to make it to a polling site. Then you don't need to worry about things like this happening.

According to the news media the vast majority of Democrats will be voting by mail in the 2020 election. So if there is a large turnout of voters on election day that will be the first indication that the Democrats are in trouble.
