  1. Programs for capturing video and screens vary by computer system. Methods to post on CC also vary. I'd like to get some background information to devise a tutorial thread so that others could learn how to accomplish such tasks and be able to contribute when they wish. We'll worry about browsers later--plugins solve many problems, and perhaps we can work on that, too. But for starters, select what you are running and explain the details. Myself, I have operated all of the above operating systems in some form or another, and they all have their merits. This isn't meant to be a "computer war." Just the basics would be fine.
  2. Did this ever come to fruition ? Evidently not. We still need a decent tutorial section for this forum that covers the basics of how to post simple jpg captures all the way to the magical things that SanPer and the other artists post here. It could get complicated, but it's better than watching boxes over at V&L's place sit around all day.
  3. Agreed, bookmaster8. All members: Do not hesitate to report jackasses like RA20 when you see them. It is appreciated, as it allows me to vent my squirrelly wrath in a constructive direction. It makes my day. 8) (The Image Content is no longer accessible and has been removed).
  4. I'm beginning to think they're trying to start a new interior decorating fad by decorating their home with nice looking boxes.
  5. Got ya covered, Woody. According to this video, it appears that many of our fellow CC members have already gone through these treatments, but I'll post it anyway:
  6. Let's improve the quality of our CamCaps posts by providing useful educational materials. I'll start with some short self-improvement guides that I know have the KK seal of approval:
  7. Looks like Willie boy is concerned that he has some competition at this event.
  8. Police officers in the US are hired by elected officials. If the city government is dysfunctional, like it is in welfare cities like Detroit, and Philadelphia, it is the fault of the electorate. If people taught their children to respect the law and to cooperate with the very law enforcement officers that they themselves have hired, this wouldn't be an issue. >:( It has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with a sub-culture that glorifies crime whilst using a straw-dog argument ("I'm a victim of racism!") as a defense for a lack of personal integrity.
  9. As long as we're talking god tier here, let's not forget this unsung hero from the classic 1950's era:
  10. Technically, ALL of us have ancestors that came from Africa. And, technically, there is no such thing as a Native American human. They are descended from Asians, with a odd possibility that ancient Europeans also visited (The Europeans evidently split the scene when they found out that there was no one in North America who could mix a decent martini.)
  11. Sorry to hear you are leaving. Your comments about human sex trafficking in Barcelona are correct. Any extent to which RLC is involved is conjecture, of course, but I won't fault you for bringing up the subject. More information is here, along with a video in English: http://thecnnfreedomproject.blogs.cnn.com/2011/07/05/spains-hot-spot-for-human-trafficking/
  12. Kinda a crossover from the Weird Stuff thread, but it really belongs here....
  13. Somehow, I don't think the gal could handle a half-gallon bottle of Smirnoff. Certainly not a 5 gallon carboy of Sparketts. Nonetheless, if you try this at home, I suggest you stop off here first: http://www.k-y.com/products/lubricants/
  14. WTF was that all about? That, my friend, was what we call in this thread "On Topic." Send her back to the 60's, put her in a shorter plastic dress, and you have instant go-go dancer flashback material!
  15. Last time they moved, they quickly showed up in this newer, more modern apartment. There are only two possibilities: A.) They will show up in a newer, more modern apartment. :) or, B.) We will need to pull out yet another rendition of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans' "Happy Trails to You," and watch many of our CamCaps friends cry a river. :(
  16. I can't think of a single harmonious couple that has inhabited one of the St. Petersburg apartments. There's never been a couple like Maya & Stepan, or Nora and Kiko, but there have been many people of questionable character. (Can you say Ruslan? Sure. I knew you could.) Diana was wonderful, of course, but her relationship utterly sucked. Zoya likewise might be a fine talented girl, but it looks like Lev has some problems. I had high hopes for both of these couples. :-\ Sometimes I think the entire RLC St. Petersburg project is jinxed.
  17. Continued personal attacks against specific members do not make for fun reading, especially if they come from someone who has been stalking the member through various outside social websites. I would ban for the latter offense. Stalking and harassing an individual are actions, and neither are involved with expressions of opinions or free speech. Take this over to Flame Wars where it belongs and bury it there. If I don't like what someone says, I just ignore it. If I don't like what someone says and I get continual reports about it, I get irritated, and unable to ignore it. In other words, drop it.
  18. Yes, I think you are correct that they might spend time together away from RLC work. I wouldn't blame them. The job's gotta suck. 24/7 shifts are hard work...
  19. Relax. CC appears to be a private operation (not a government program) headquartered in the United States. You can't run a private sector business here without a really good A/P and A/R accountant. You must watch every penny. It's called "running a business." If it were a US government operation, then the operators wouldn't care about you, and I would suggest you be very concerned... Give Admin time to work through the problems. I mean, we're talking about a fucking $12 here, not your earnings for the past 6 months!
  20. I can believe that about Nora, but I have a little difficultly believing it about Kiko. He just doesn't look like a sharp tool... he looks like too many things have to be explained to him. He's been seen writing code. He knows photography and theater operations. He's not a stooge like many of the other dudes have been. There's no big hidden secret here; likewise Paul is far more intelligent than the casual CC member imagines. Plus, Kiko drinks decent red wine, hangs with literary people, never beats his woman, doesn't get drunk and disorderly, and treats his woman with respect. In return, she doesn't chase him around with scissors and knives, she doesn't play around with other men on RLC, and she loves him. I consider these qualities to be virtues, especially when it happens at RLC. We've seen some real losers here on RLC, but N&K are not in that batch.
  21. Is Nora really sick or afraid that someone found out about her secret life and Web Site ???? Nope. Something like this happened years ago, maybe it's in the archives. As far as web site and "secret life" and RLC interactions, she knows precisely what she's doing. N&K are probably the sharpest tools in RLC's shed.
  22. As I mentioned before, please PM or alert me if Minnie Mouse has left the building. That's the certain sign of a residence change. (Unless Kiko reads this and decides fuck with squirrel's head! ;D)
  23. We saw this with Diana, often. And, of course, many CC members figured it was real.
