  1. Let me rephrase: "Spain has laws forbidding the filming of performances without explicit permission of the copyright holder." My Spanish contacts have expressed that these rights are usually reserved and enforced. The laws are similar to those found in the US, but the US has a "fair-use" law, which allows snippets of works to be quoted or used for comments. The copyright laws of Spain apply not only to performers in a public venue, but also images recorded on security cameras. A quick study of Spanish copyright laws (yeah, just google it) is fraught with drama, especially since Hollywood has been politically involved with the Spanish legislators. Generally speaking, copyright laws in Spain are more tightly enforced domestically; but still tend to be lax with copying and private distribution of imported works. That may have changed. You'll see a big stink about this if you cruise the Internet. Suffice to say, RLC retains its copyrights, and they are working under international copyright laws, especially the DMCA. As for Paris or London, Spain's cheaper, and it has loads of unemployed young people. RLC's money comes from richer nations, and the currency conversion is a better deal. Check out this site: http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_cities.jsp?country1=Spain&city1=Barcelona&country2=United+Kingdom&city2=London Personally, I haven't figured out why RLC doesn't consider Prague. You could lease an entire apartment complex for the price of one New York penthouse.
  2. @Van: you mean this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVlVmv0K-pk They were just a local band where and when I grew up. Next, just to show Kitten that I'm not that old, I might post another local California Band unless someone complains.
  3. Yep. I think it was a Error 403 or something like that. I checked my connections and decided it was on their side of the gate. Everything is back up, except all the fun people at D&E's apartment are now down and passed out. I expect some hangovers...
  4. @KamkazeV2: I'm pretty sure this is how it works---- 1) Nothing will happen for hours, in any of the apartments. 2) Then your beloved RLC fantasy creature will start undressing. 3) The screen will start freezing, or your wife or kids or mother will suddenly appear. 4) If you do see something, it will probably be on the old fuzzy cams. 5) Or, you will pass out and go to sleep after wasting an entire day waiting to see something interesting. That's usually when the magic happens. While you're asleep or gone. I think it's a law of nature. 6) Le'me tell ya, it's a thrill a minute. Have a blast... ;D For everything else, there's CamCaps...
  5. She's gone, my friend. Sorry for our loss. After this, I'll be posting this kinda stuff at Old Dudes Juke Box thread. Maybe Diana can sing this for us to sooth our savage souls...
  6. Don't wanna see this thread die; it's CC's most universal thread (besides tits and ass). Even the French understand it. So, as they say in /b, I'll just leave this beer here...
  7. Regarding Nora, Leora, and Diana. Kitten's already stuck here. Kitten needs some girlfriends. :P
  8. Full agreement here. The only sad part about this song is that we will never see Nora choreograph and dance to this song in the dance room. :'(
  9. Who paid for the power plant? Who built it? And yes, I agree with you that this thread belongs in the Old Dudes category...
  10. REAL PEOPLE. Playing REAL games. With REAL FRIENDS. What's not to love about that?
  11. Damn, but this song reminds me of the Beach Boys. Plastic Bertrand is definitely into connection and musical evolution. I rather like it. Maybe we can get Diana to sing it for us. :-* Here's the translation, in both French & English, but it still reminds me of the Beach Boys.
  12. Nummy, Nick. Really tasty.
  13. Two different issues occurred last night, North American time zones. 1) Crazy3434 put up a legitimate post that was immediately hosed by the third-party file sharing service. They either don't allow hot-links, or it was the usual DMCA complaint from RLC. Crazy3434 is cool. 2) Then some jack-ass named balon1 spammed the fucking board with another one of those "download this program and you can watch RLC for free!"exe links, and posted it in every category. I went ballistic on the motherfucker, reported everyone of his posts, and emailed him telling him he was now infected. I'm a tolerant guy, but since you run a board, I know you don't appreciate this kinda shit either. People fucking with CC have a tendency to incur my squirrelly wrath, so I got really pissed and flew off the handle. Then the mods/Admin showed up, banned the motherfucker, and cleaned up the mess. Thank you, mods/Admin. That's what you missed.
  14. 1) Pepe is correct. Alexa.com shows that RLC has virtually no traffic originating from Russia. It's blocked there, except for FSB surveillance and people who know how to use TOR. CC doesn't appear to be blocked. But "no one you know will see you naked" is a good selling point to sign up new recruits. 2) I like the studio concept -- the idea is that the entire thing comes from a studio in San Fernando Valley where cheap porn movies are filmed, or Area 51, where Americans "faked" the moon landing-- is just plan fun. But it's wrong. 3) The idea that some or all of the tenants are, or were, part of RLC management cannot be proved or disproved. I'll let that idea roll. The only person I've seen write code was Kiko -- all the other dudes are addicted to video games or music. Or directional antennas. 4) Spain has laws forbidding the filming of performances, and Barcelona is a desirable place to live. Hence, RLC set up shop there. But with Spain's socialist decline, I suspect RLC doesn't want to renew the Barcelona leases. 5) RLC is managed through the Internet. Hence, they can locate their apartments anywhere, and simply contract out the foot-work locally when needed. Multiple time zones mean that something is usually happening somewhere, and can be seen by their subscribers somewhere. Theoretically.
  15. Maybe she came to finish the knife job she left undone the other night. I wouldn’t feel very safe after the last fight they had... Maybe Isabel should move in with Efim. They both love blade-play. And Diana should move in with Leora. Or with Foamy! :D
  16. I admire your lack of restraint and self-discipline. It certainly takes a lot of courage to post a Honey Boo Boo flick. I gifted you a -1. We've got to get your ratings up to respectable levels so everyone knows you have kick-ass street cred. Obviously you are senior CC member material.
  17. Go ahead and kill this thread. Hot-linking is forbidden at your link. It's pretty much that simple, and by my accounts, the mods are busy cleaning up isle 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, and 10, where some asshole clown named balon1 dropped his diapers and shit all over the place and puked when he did so.
  18. Primarily @Baker48, but to I&M followers: I never followed them much (though they had terrific sex) but she doesn't appear very often anymore, and he looks like a lonely puppy without her. I honestly do not think they will continue this way much longer. I'm actually sorry that this break-up occurred. But such transitions happen with RLC tenants, and we must adjust to that simple fact.
  19. I think serg69 is probably right in some respects, but "Leora" is an emotionally-based artistic woman, probably pre-orgasmic, and she loves Paul, so the sex is not the problem. He's an engineer-kind of man, meaning he's intellectually based, not emotionally based. I think they are still learning from each other. Or they would not still be together. So I won't treat the man with derisive comments. She's taken him as her man, and Scooter for her pet, and I'll respect her womanly decisions. I have no choice. Dammit.
  20. My kids have DVRs. I don't. I'm old, I live in Obamaville, and refuse to pay for such a service. I have an antenna and a digital converter. But the kids do, and they invite me over to watch stuff, and I must admit the DVR is really, really a handy idea, and worth the subscription price. Perhaps RLC might consider this option. Until then, I'm just posting commentary on CC. It's not profitable, but it keeps me out of bars and taverns...
  21. I'm game for a scary movie. Metal and ink are about the safest thing you'll find on a young woman now days. The rest -- well -- that's really scary...
  22. Did you really need to post that video? I mean, really? I mean, I spend all day making my sauce from home-grown roma tomatoes, and I'm not even Italian. Christ. Next time, post the Honey B-B stuff in Photobucket: Ugly, Nasty, Disgusting, Odd. Which is exactly where cable TV should be posting it.
  23. Thank you kooloos. I knew I could count on you to get this thread back on-topic. Too bad we missed the event.
  24. Reported. I hope Kitten claws you a new asshole, mother-fucker. >:(
  25. 1) against CC policy. 2) I wouldn't even click on it in on my Linux machine. Explain to me why this is not spam or a virus. Thank you.
