If you're talking about TBG, he's Mister Brown, whether he likes it or not. Like you, he's just another proud fuckhead, like all of us. But he's an American. He spells "color" as "color." And probably "theater" as "theater." He won't answer to anything else. So fuckin' live with it: This ain't no city council meeting. You're the key guy in this operation, and we've got work to do. So you run things while I discuss personal matters with Miss Scarlet privately in my office... :P

I hoisted my national flag at sunrise. I thought of my ancestors and their brothers and sisters who faced the horrors of the war, and the greater horrors of a life of servitude under tyranny. I also thought of my children, their friends, my class mates, and the warriors of other cousin nations that served. Thank you all.

OK kids. As American's say, the jig's up. Apparently, the rules have changed. RLC does not want anybody re-posting their content. This is understandable, to a limited extent. They are enforcing DCMA rules. (See http://www.dmca.com/ for details.) I noticed this change with my Linux machine -- that OS didn't come with the libraries necessary to display certain DCMA encoded content -- so I couldn't even see live-stream RLC anymore on the FireFox browser. I had already known that certain posters here and on other sites had been banned, but this DCMA was a whole new enforcement routine. Now even the UL people are complaining, and getting banned. This is entirely within RLC's rights, for several different legalistic reasons, all of which are applicable to different jurisdictions. For example: Spain does not allow the replication of any content of a public performance without expressed permission. The United States is a bit more classically liberal (in the context of the original Founders -- not the current administration) because it allows a "fair-use clause," a concept that allows discussion of events by common people and snippets of activity to be shown as evidence to support the discussion. Roman Law, English Common Law, and Tribal Law are all quite different, but this problem affects everyone subscribing to RLC in the same way. It's against the Terms And Conditions of RLC, when you sign up, to re-broadcast their contact without their permission. By doing so you are violating a written contract. In English Common Law countries, that is not a criminal offense: it's simply civil -- they can sue you in a civil court or more likely quite providing the service to you. It's different under Roman Law (it can be a criminal offense) or Tribal or Sharia Law (they cut off your head or your penis.) Of course, by taking this action -- of which I agree RLC has every right to do -- they are possibly losing a loyal part of their viewing audience, and losing a terrific amount of free advertising. But they certainly have a right to run their business as they please. The question is: "What will become of CamCaps when DCMA and RLC come after them?" Personally, I'd expect CC to take a big hit from Newbies who just like to jack off. Most of us Old Dude's admire some of the girls physiques: it reminds of us old times back when "free love" was starting. We love to look at beautiful young girls, even if we're old enough to be their fathers. But there's nothing that can prevent us from describing what they do on RLC, or what the couples are experiencing in their lives, and most significantly, most of us hang out here because we're more interested in what other CC members think, do, say -- they music they like, the liquor or pleasures we have experienced, etc. Of course, we're gamers here. I'm not too old to take up the challenge of either cribbage, chess, billiards, or Clue. CC will survive if RLC decides to eliminate social media like CC from their roster. And besides, there's always Tor for them to deal with. Sorry for the long "rant." It's just the way things seem to be "progressing." (If you can translate this properly to any of the other languages used on CamCaps, please do so. My use of English will not translate well with on-line translation services, and this is an important subject for all CC members. Shit's comin' down, bro'...)

Katya & Ruslan Videos - Split #1
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to Woof's topic in Katya & Ruslan (05/02/14 - 09/28/14)
This is a great way to lose potential customers -- it's called ignorance of social media marketing. This is fine with me. They have their rights. And it could be a big boon for Old Dude's. In fact, Old Dude's highly refined discussions, and linking to Youtube, might be all CC has left in the arsenal at this rate. Nothing has been going on at RLC lately that's really worth posting or discussing anyway... -
Official Dog Thread
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to itsme's topic in Katya & Ruslan (05/02/14 - 09/28/14)
It's obvious that they inhabit this forum, but I believe their decisions are based entirely upon the number of hits; the hit trends, and what the bottom line says at the end of the month. -
Emi's in. She's committed. She doesn't know it yet, but she would never give up the chance to work with a man of your standing and caliber. And I don't talk about sports either. And neither does Mr. Pink. It's either machines, art, booze or beautiful women with us. You'll get along just fine. And Scarlet will love you...

I just had my hearing checked by an audiologist. I'm trying to hear whatever I can hear before my internal sound card disappears. Believe me, a computer sound card is cheap. Although a REAL analog Class A amplifier with studio monitor speakers is much better. Now, if the fucking mocking birds and untrained dogs next door will quit barking all fucking night long, I might be able to sleep. Let's start an argument. You know a bunch about music, and it's boring around here...Mr. Brown... 8) Post some great organ work (and I mean the musical instrument, not the biological one. I'll listen.) ;)

Since we are on the topic of RLC and Rock 'n Roll, and Wolfman is now taking dedications, I would like to dedicate this simple love song to our virtual friends Nora & Kiko. The tune needs to be cranked up on the stereo; the video is useless: Nora could choreograph it easily and Kiko could design the visuals. It's just about an ordinary couple. (But if you are a star -- this is the guitar riff you want playing when you first enter the stage.)

A little background for Newbies: Sometime ago, a version of NL complained that the karma system was useless, because any troll could give someone negative karma for no reason at all. That was epidemic. Some of us understood that, and started giving one another negative karma, competing for the highest negative score. This essentially negated the entire karma system as it was originally designed, and it certainly was one of the most fun periods of existence for CamCaps. Therefore, we didn't eliminate it. We just re-designed it to suit our purpose. :D

Gee! A thoughtful discussion on CamCaps, where no one is trying to ream another's ass! I actually have considered every opinion expressed by you folks! And I agree that all points have some measure of validity. Utterly amazing! Squirrel would have approved. (May he rest in peace). As for me, Maya's a fine gal, she doesn't have horrible fights with Stepan, they actually have real friends, and I'll leave it at that for now.

Maya & Stepan Videos - Split #1
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to Fantomas's topic in Maya (07/09/13 - 06/19/19)
I still like Maya. She's still fun; doesn't scream and fight with her mate; and face the fact: not a whole lot of worthwhile things are happening with RLC people these days. She may soon be all we have left, especially since the other couples have become either emotionally violent, or boring as hell. And Meerkat's gone... :'( -
We'll live with it. There's been an opening for a feathery tail ever since Canary quit posting. When last seen, he was carrying a baseball bat, so nobody dared fuck with him, either.

FYI: This accent came straight from Loony Tunes along with half the members of this board.

they both just beat the puppy on cam
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to madwolf33's topic in Katya & Ruslan (05/02/14 - 09/28/14)
I don't think they're in cahoots. I think that RLC has beefed up the protection of its intellectual property and has been threatening legal action against file services and demanding they remove RLC content. It's already done this sporadically with MediaFire and the others. UL is a good one to go for because it primarily caters to legitimate big businesses and can't afford to piss off potential clientele by failing to remove such content. -
My response: :D , aka cheesy smile. Everyone knows I tossed out Rocky the Flying Squirrel, hired #6 on a temporary basis, and have now adopted Foamy. They know this because they know my prose style, and I have never hidden this evolution from nice guy to kick ass. Rocky was simply too confining. He felt he should always play the peacemaker, the UN, Mr. Nice Guy. Foamy, on the other hand, has a much higher WQ (Wrathness quotient) and is capable of being pissed off and dishing it out as good as he gets it. So don't give me any shit, or I'll gnaw your radiator hose to pieces, trash your attic, and drain your bird feeder. Sincerely, (signed) Your Lord and Master

Nice new avatar, Pirate. I'm sure Pepe would agree. Yet another furry tail enters the scene. 8)

Leora Crying Again
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to piedpiper1968's topic in Leora & Paul (06/28/13 - 06/19/19)
The intensity of yelling and crying is getting worse. I'd wish they'd realize that such outbursts will not help them resolve their relationship problems. In fact, I don't see how they could possibly continue to live like this. That level of emotional violence would drive me up a wall. All I know is that if Leora leaves, RLC would lose half its customers. -

Are we certain these people live in Russia? Sometimes I wonder. Looks like San Francisco to me. (Attachment Purged) -
Here's an old and extremely familiar RLC image:

Hors sujet pour les nuls et noob.
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to Antares.'s topic in Random Discussion
Antares: I was not aware that CC has blocked UL access. ??? Granted, UL is time consuming for people who don't wish to sign up; it has download limits; and even my Atari 800 with a 300 baud modem in the old days could blast UL out of the water on a BBS download. I seldom bother with a UL post. Occasionally, when I have downloaded yours, I have found them to be very good. We appreciate your presence on the board. There is no reason to damage or destroy CC over this posting matter, especially when there are so many other alternatives available. A civil war in the Ukraine and a half-dozen other places in the world are enough. No need for one on CC. -
Alma & Stefan Videos - Split #1
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to Woof's topic in Alma & Stefan (03/13/13 - 07/03/14)
Wow. I could actually download a video quickly and efficiently from CC without hitting my fucking daily UL limit and wasting hours upon hours! Thanks! Reminds me of the good old days! -
RIP NL: I barely remember Jade 1. I was a newbie at the time. I had no idea how complicated the CC game could be. Nor how much fun, creative, and intelligent CC members could be. I mean, they're all still fuckheads, but once in a while, they're fun fuckheads. That's important to squirrels and intel agents. Nor have I ever covered my tracks by hiding my true nature. Everybody who speaks English can immediately identify my prose. (And there is also a member here who mimics it quite well.) ;) And I have always been loyal to my CC friends, even if they're fuckheads. As far as your death problem, and your need to get out of that box, we'll ask our expert, the illustrious Dth, to get right on it. I believe a Zombie would be a terrific addition to our team. One look at you and TBG --- and the enemy will surrender immediately. Obviously, our group may need code names. We'll start with you. You can be Mr. Pink. 8)
