  1. Just a little intellectual information that supports the belief that totalitarian governments require strict religious, economic and political allegiance in order to function: http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/MEGA.HTM
  2. Once a Nora lover, always a Nora lover. Although, I think even we can agree that she's about as uninhibited as a Presbyterian minister's daughter, that she has not been the same since Agent Dog was reassigned, and that the green sock on her left foot at this very moment should be on her right foot instead. Now, shut up and eat this healthy vegetable soup.
  3. You seem to have a problem when it comes to getting excitement from this apartment's stunning interior decorating. Perhaps we should ask RLC to change its name to "IKEA_In_Action.com"... ;D
  4. Very well then, maybe 6 months. I like to look at the bright side of things. It's a British trait.
  5. The international language of business is English, thanks to the Royal Navy. The international currency is USD, thanks to free-enterprise capitalism. I give them both about another 10 months at this rate.
  6. I'm sure they are very nice captures. If anyone has two weeks to download these files, post the highlights for us in an easily accessible form. Thank you for your efforts.
  7. That could add some interest to RLC. Has anyone counted their fingers or seen them playing "Dueling Banjos?" Just wondering. 8)
  8. I am not a Squirrel. I am a free man. Perhaps I should defend myself against such a slandering accusation. But then again, this is CamCaps.
  9. Sometimes, my friend, it's better to be obvious when one is clearly obvious.
  10. Well said, ol' boy. Cherrio! (They come, they go. Obvious is obvious!)
  11. Understanding their situation was not unlike understanding Leora & Paul's weird situation in the beginning. Unfortunately, the Spanish speakers here write in idiomatic phrases in odd dialects, which on-line translators cannot decipher. Short answer: "No comprendo."
  12. Think of it as being like UL. Grab the original from the CC site, and move on without further bother.
  13. That's a really handsome young dog -- and I'm a cat guy, needing desperately to replace Meerkat or Agent Dog. I hate to see anything bad happen to these animals because lately, that's all that RLC is about. Maybe they should change it to Real LifeAnimalCam.com...
  14. With Meerkat gone, they stand a chance. They'll need to compete with Leora's dog, however, and for a short-legged rat-dog, that sucker can jump and run around like an American NBA star... Go ahead and name them. That always helps around here.
  15. You'd better check with bulging cheeks to be sure you are allowed to have an opinion here and you are allowed to vote. Nonsense. Once a Nora lover, always a Nora lover. I still have very hot vivid memories of my high school girlfriends. Memories... But I'd say Katya could be competition for Leora. Personally, I'd like Maya's sister-in-law to move into Max and & Lora's old place before I make a decision...that' woman's hot.
  16. It doesn't need to. The Federal Government, nor the States, are allowed to established a state religion. It is an Individual right. Individuals may practice their respective religion; but they may not use the coercive force of government to force others into their religion. This simple concept is old, born of European religious warfare. I can give you the history, but it involves the relationship of New Netherland & New England when their various religious sects arrived, and found that they decided they could rely on one another regardless of their respective religion, instead of killing each other. The history would be, for this thread, far off topic. Take it up at Old Dudes, and I'll try to respond. With footnotes. If you will respect me and my right to my beliefs, I will in turn respect yours.
  17. Give her Max and Lora's old apartment, and I just might pay RLC for a subscription... :-* :-* :-*
  18. This is in the jurisdiction of the United States. I wonder if Americans have ever read their own supreme Law; and if they have, the boldface phrase never seems to show up in their thought processes: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Of all the religions, not even Islam is less tolerant of religions than Marxist Atheism.
  19. The problem is that militant Muslims are not staying there. They are here. They want us dead. I often question why Judeo-Christian religions -- of which Islam is a militant off-shoot -- all call this area of the world the "Holy Land." It is historically one of the most violent regions of the world, and it's never been at peace with itself. The only thing "holy" about it is the holes that have been shot through the bodies of the innocents.
  20. This is now an Obvious is Obvious thread. :D
  21. Pepe is posting cute, little warm and fuzzy graphics pictures. You might switch back to your Paid Member account to view and download them.
  22. http://www.pangloss.com/seidel/shake_rule.html ;D ;D ;D
  23. 5 hour nap? Looks like you qualify for a platinum Old Dude's Board membership, ol' boy. You'll fit right in...
