  1. Actually Torrance and the People's Republic of California just lost Toyota's North American headquarters. Give ten points to Plano, Texas. Scratch about 4,000 good paying jobs in the area, plus a huge number of "trickle down" indirect jobs. That was the big Torrance news last week. I'm sure local media covered the story. Hopefully it won't affect your sector of the economy.
  2. The Big Guy is correct, he didn't start this present flame war. Squirrel, may he rest in peace, hated flame wars -- but I think he would be proud of the evolving quality of the insults and the creative writing involved. This could actually be fun. Much more entertaining than RLC has been lately. Keep up the good work, gentlemen...
  3. truth is you must know Camels ass very well , now I know what you look like long curly hair short and fat sits front of computer bored and like a mother in low sticks his nose every ones post , and get paid from RLM So what's the big news in Torrance, Nicky? Certainly you know the answer, since you said you lived there...we await your response.
  4. Squirrel's been dust for just a few days, and already we have a flame war. No wonder he quit.
  5. "Es la tia de el." This means she's an aunt, according to our Spanish speakers, who are known to be exhaustive in their research and love for Alma & Isabel. I tend to trust them. This means that the dogs are her grand-nieces/grand nephews, and she's not necessarily a grandma.
  6. That's just what the world needs: a PC that can stream in full Smell-O-Vision!

  8. The time you expend on improving this site is appreciated; but it would be best for you to take some time to relax. And enjoy your just rewards. Written a good sonnet lately?
  9. They will be out by August 3, 2014. Three months = Thirty Quid. USD . ;) ;D ;D ;D
  10. I shall need to test drive each model before making hasty decisions... Champagne & donuts will suffice for brunch after that.
  11. Ocam is good if you're sitting there to babysit it. It doesn't monitor multiple screens. RTMD supposedly was better at all of this; JoJo's advice is OK if you Torrent and can do that. As far as the old good posters are concerned, they all went to Old Dudes and died of old age. Except our beloved and respected JoJo. Agreed on UL.
  12. ocam, from Ohsoft.net, is a good starter. It's a screen recorder that allows you to define areas (so you can keep out the RLC snitch number). It's not a stream downloader, so the quality is defined by the quality of your video board, but it's easy and it works fairly well. It also captures stills quickly and efficiently. RTMDumper is for pros: last I heard it was having problems with new stream encoding, but that might be fixed by now. Many posters here used this one, and it's generally considered the best stream recorder with the highest quality, but I've never succeeded in getting the damn thing to boot. Have a blast, and hope to see your conquests soon. Both are Windows compatible. You should get other responses soon from the video posters...
  13. They operate this way, but lately it's been a bit extreme. We shall see, but I'm not holding my breath one way or the other...
  14. Good. We'll get along fine. Cuz that means you won't bogart my joint...
  15. Depending on which planetary object in which you speak that the massive impact will take place, I'd like to be a bit further away. Wouldn't you think? :P
  16. Nuthin' wrong with a bit of country music.
  17. If Squirrel is in Frostbite Falls, MN, which I believe to be in the United States, everyone under the age of 26 gets "free" medical insurance now. So obviously he's safe from death until age 39. ;D
  18. In truth, what we need are a lot more free individuals. They form communities; they create enterprises, they actually get along with one another on an individual level, especially when they need to trade goods and services. They will also buy goods and services from members of other tribes, religions, races. They just want a fair deal. Governments, whether warlords, dictatorships, or just simple empires, are the ones who start wars. They don't want a fair deal. They want to steal from individuals --wherever they might be--and enrich themselves. I have no problem with people who worship other gods, nor do I have a problem with individuals based on their sex, race, or their origin. Not even their sexual preference, unless I'm interested in having sex with them. Business is business. We need more individual liberty. Not more ridiculous laws and highly paid government warlords. I am not a number. I am a free man.
  19. I'm going to post these here because I can. Oddball version of "All You Need is Love." Video features several Juke Boxes. And for the oldsters, I proudly submit another favorite.
  20. This look suspiciously like a "Russian Army Military Uniform Missile Troops and Artillery Insignia Sleeve Patch."
  21. No, that secret code phrase applies to Leora's dad. I knew him well back before my retirement. I was addressing all the hopeful CC members who wish Leora would be friends with them. Saint Jude: Patron Saint of Lost Causes: that sort of thing. ;D
  22. Thanks. Brought back fond memories and a few flashbacks of this gentleman:
