  1. Re: As of 2015, Europe was flooded with refugees from Syria and Afghanistan - from wars induced by the US. Sorry, but the problems Syria experienced were backed by Russia and Iran, utilizing their terrorist funded friends.
  2. Are you talking about RLC, VHTV or CamCaps thumbnails? It all really depends on the servers used. Most stuff on CC is on links, so in that case, speed depends upon the file sharing service.
  3. Some people blow their retirement funds on gambling. Some people buy junk bonds with it. Others invest in real estate, so that they'll have some sort of steady income. To do this, they often mortgage the place. So they're not just having to suck up the costs of the operating and maintenence expenses, they also must pay a back back a montly mortgage. If tenants don't pay the rent, the landlord loses the property. Then the banks take over. Then what do you think happens? Yep, the banks raise the rent or convert the property to commercial uses. Less residential property, rental or owned, means less taxpayers in the state and more tents alongside the roads.
  4. I live in a place where laws not only enforce rent control, but also demand building requirements that hike up the price of building even a shithouse. Clean burning natural gas somehow is being eliminated now in favor of fossil fuel generated electricity (from another state, or at least 90% in the US in general), so equipment must be electrical, which is very inefficient when creating heat. Utilities are given money to install windmills and solar cells, but maintenance of the gird is, well, ignored. So electrical service is "iffy." Once only electric cars are allowed to be sold in my state, just watch the electical grid melt. So you have a choice with your laws, and it comes with unintended consequences: The Government chokes off the supply or housing with ridiculous burdens and then wonders why the demand cannot be met. Also, paying people welfare money to live wherever they want in their tent so they can afford to do drugs in between shitting on sidewalks is based on unintended socialist priciples where the taxman steals money from the productive people in society and gives it to the unproductive. Free stuff stolen from other people does not create an incentive to work. It is not humane, either. Do not feed the wild animals. They lose their ability to find their own food -- even where food is abundant -- and become slovenly, usless critters infesting any area where they can get food without earning it.

  6. I'm thinking CC should cancel anyone who doesn't agree with me. After all, we know freedom of political speech and thought is bad for democracy. Then maybe I can get Elon Musk to buy CC for $32 million and I can skim off a 10% sales commission.
  7. Finally. We now know that the Leader of the Free World is the Easter Bunny. This means free Marshmallow chicks in every basket! Whoopee!
  8. Somebody tell Pocahontas that both the Republicans and Libertarians have already circled their wagons.
  9. Why are you thanking a Mexican Beer? Shouldn't you be thanking a Russian brand of vodka instead?
  10. If I read the translation of your statement correctly, I can answer that there is a reason the US has a Constitution which limits the power of government and ensures individual rights. Democracy without controls is mob rule, which is no different than a totalitarian dictatorship in which the human individual is eliminated from power and becomes a slave.
  11. Democracy dies when the people find out they can vote themselves gifts.
  12. I agree that it is a sin to waste food. Especially if it can be shipped to refugees. Hunger overcomes any prejudice. Ich stimme zu, dass es eine Sünde ist, Lebensmittel zu verschwenden. Vor allem, wenn es an Flüchtlinge verschickt werden kann. Hunger überwindet jedes Vorurteil.
  13. I wouldn't hold my breath. Most Schengen Zone nations are also members of NATO. Anything could happen at any time, and none of it will be particularly fun.
  14. @baseggioleen69: Comments need to be decent, detailed AND interesting. Not annoying. Also, please note the RULES for this forum. It is for videos only.
  15. I met some refugees from Pinnow, Germany. They escaped when East Germany was locked down by Russians (then dressed as Soviets). I believe Putin was active as a KGB operative in East Germany at this time. They were not happy with the situation, of course. @StarLight28 Do you work as an influencer?
  16. Last time the Russians bulldozed the Germans it was not a pretty picture. It would probably be good for Puting to get it before Biden's people are tossed out of power. I mean, Putin has been working very hard to get Hillary elected, Trump impeached for no good reason, and succeed in getting Biden elected
  17. I'm not certain why the Biden Administration won't allow Ukrainian refugees into the United States. Perhaps that's because the Mexican Cartels are willing to pay more for "free trade" in the US.
  18. Look, my friends, it's going to be spring (at least in what's left of the "free" world), and I'm interested in what you master chefs do to make perfect baby-back ribs. So have at it. This thread should not perish from the face of the Earth.
  19. Biden had no problem reversing Trump's decision to disallow the Nord Stream pipeline, and Biden had no problem stopping the Keystone pipeline at the same time. This reversed Trump's success at making the US energy independent. We're now dependent upon OPEC and Russia to set world energy prices. Last time Putin took a huge bite out of Ukrainian lands, the Obama-Biden administration gave Ukraine blankets. That was kind. Thanks to the progressive's Marxist agenda we can save the Earth by letting China and Russia expand while Western Civilization utterly collapses.
