I do not necessarily respond to complaints from Snowflakes that some bully hurt their feelings. Honestly, some people here are so soft skinned that they wouldn't have lasted 10 seconds back in the day of Usenet without turning into a puddle of Jello. All those petty feuds always end up as a "he started it -- no he started it" thing and then both parties come on here and piss and moan about the "mods are too strict, the mods are too lax." Fine with me. That's what Rants and Flames is for. Just don't pollute the Apartment threads.

There once was a thread titled "Supergirl Maya" on CC. This was because we couldn't figure out anything that Maya couldn't do. She can sew -- including using a serger --, make cat trees from scratch, do autobody work, is a distributor for a cosmetics line, styles hair, etc., etc. She keeps herself far busier than any of the other women on RLC.

I'll go out on a limb and say that I respectfully disagree with your assertion, Howard. I believe her manikins are actually that: show pieces for in-vogue beauty salons and fashion shops. Some may actually be full-on artwork. If she is indeed even somewhat self-employed in the US, she would be a fiscal conservative, regardless of her party affiliations, and I think her rather unique artistic style would sell in Beverly Hills and Hollywood Blvd. quite well. They love stuff like that down there.

I have not had that problem, but they were changing their user interface, so that might have been the problem. They have simplified their presentation to include subordinate sub headings using the almighty ">" which means nothing to me yet except perhaps they want the freedom to add more apartments without clogging up their home page, or perhaps they wish to advertise certain apartments more. Anyhow, it's possible that the new installation caused the glitch which you experienced. But never trust a squirrel brain to understand such things. It's all speculation on my part.

We have a technical section in the "General" boards that need to be used to discuss resolution, capture software, graphic manipulation, etc. This could be very helpful for novices that want to learn more. VHTV has been very generous in allowing us to capture and post their stuff. Please accommodate their requests, and give them credit for their logo/watermark in your captures. I don't care about your resolution; it's the thought that counts. Hell, back in 1979 we would have killed for what is now the lowest resolutions delivered by the cheapest video boards... And dammit, post!

No fighting in the Barca threads. I don't care what people say in Rants and Flames. That's its purpose. It's a totally free speech area, and if Mods ban someone, it's not because of what they said here. The rules are simple here. No CP, no spamming or hacking info, no stuff that threatens tenants or members. That's about it. We once could say whatever we wanted on CC, and the members were mostly of high character and education; but it was a smaller world then, and now we simply can't allow tirades and bullshit to scare off those potential members who are civilized, polite, and rational and only want to see and comment about the action of the tenants. But it's pretty much allowed here or R&F, instead, with few restrictions.

I don't ban anybody here unless they, post CP, Spam, or threats to members or tenants. Because, for what goes on here, frankly, Scarlett, I don't give a damn. Maybe Maya and Stepan decided to research their family history, took an Ancestry.com DNA test, and found out they're siblings. Maybe she watches the Masha & Sasha orgies and wants to explore, while Stepan mutates into an asexual metrosexual AI experiment. Maybe she wants to get pregnant before her time is out, but Stepan is sterile. Maybe this is all scripted to drive us crazy with speculation. Maybe they're not even real-life, but computer-generated beings who lost a couple lines of code along the way. Or maybe they've been together so damn long that they're sick and tired of each other but can't afford to split up. I'm voting for the last option until someone here comes up with a better explanation.

Agreed. She paid her dues building up RLC, and now, for her, it's just a place to visit: we call this a turn-key business the in the U.S.A. I think it's obvious that she knows the girls personally, or they probably wouldn't be there. As for me, I don't mind seeing the old gal again.

There seems to be some sort of argument going on here. It's not too hostile at this point. Both sides have a point. It's obvious to me that RLC added the "all girls Barcelona" apartments in order to expand their market share by catering to an additional audience that prefers to watch pretty girls who could easily adorn Victoria Secret catalogs or Sports Illustrated's bikini edition, rather than the previous audience that catered to "the neighbors next door" couples and girls. The reality is that sex sells, especially when you suddenly find yourself competing against sites like VHTV, VV and Camarads. To each his/her own.

I don't pay to watch this apartment, but certainly Kami is a classically beautiful woman, and Kristy has the most fun personality I've seen on RLC. I would have dated her in the old days and we would have had a blast, so she'll always be 10 points ahead of most of the other women on RLC just because of her personality. But I understand and agree with Moos' point. We all come here for different reasons, and some of us have enough money to enjoy the tenants 24/7.

I like N&K and nice, interesting, talented individuals. They're real. They're not obnoxious and threatening, and they don't resort to bloody violence when they have a tiff. And they're real. That has become a rare commodity on these various voyeur sites lately. Say what you want about RLC, but it's not sold as a competitor to xhamster.com

I remember the good old days when there were fewer apartments. If RLC got quiet, we could all go over to Maya's and Stepan's and watch the kittens paw incessantly at the aquarium fishies. Now, we're left with nothing but watching Maya evolve her bizarre and somewhat morbid sculptures.

Apparently, the US Embassy to the UK is the biggest we have in Europe. (You ought to see the size of the Embassy we have planned for Pyongyang!)
