No-one has mentioned the kitten yet 🐈😺😃 (until now 😃)

Lisa has been one of the longest lasting participants at 14 months and I have made no secret of being a fan for that period. It has been a roller coaster at times with happiness and sadness, laughter and tears but I have always found her quite captivating. Meeting Grant seems to been a positive step for her and they appear very happy together (in between the occasional argument, which is quite normal for couples 😃). I am hoping that they have gone on to bigger and better things with a place of their own to live, an income and aspirations for the future. I shall miss Lisa but she and Grant have my very best wishes for everything they choose to do in the future (that said please do come and visit Lexy and Pete occasionally). I hope the cat 🐈 is happy 😺 somewhere and that Dog, Panda, Bear, Puppy, Seal, Big Bear, Lion, Baby Panda, Giant Panda and the rest are still together with you 😃 Lots of love ❤️, take care and good luck. Russia play Egypt on their doorstep in the St Petersburg Stadium on Tuesday. Seeing as they seem to be such football (soccer) fans it would be great if they could go to the match, but not so good for us as they wouldn't be entertaining us again by watching it on television.

Not the normal post you find here but given that the 'White Nights' Festival is just starting in St Petersburg here is some film of the 'Scarlet Sails' celebration in 2017 with some calm relaxing music (until nearer the end). The 'Scarlet Sails' event in 2018 is being held this Sunday 27 May and is to mark the end of the school year and celebrate those students graduating. A huge firework display and open air concert takes place with a red sail rigged tall ship sailing the Neva river to symbolise passage into adulthood. This is just part of a much larger range of events for the overall 'White Nights' festival.
