The apartment is too small, with little light and many blind spots to accommodate other people for a party.

I agree with you and I would like to add a couple of things. 1. Often Em and Bob leave a small light on in the bedroom or in the living room and this stops the automatic light coming on (do you remember Em and Bob in the kitchen of the old house? Em switched on the light of the small atrium to keep the kitchen in the dark.) 2. The cameras are very badly positioned and the couple does not consider their position and therefore we very often do not see anything.
