Sorry guys but Just was bang on,it's a saying that is possibly a bit dated now. As for black,white and haggis pudding,these are common as muck in our local chip(french fries)shops and just to confuse you further we would go in to aforesaid shop and ask for a white pudding supper and we would get white pudding and chips.
