She was twice abandoned by her family and treated her badly. At the animal shelter they called her Lady, but she does not respond to that name. We want her to choose a more suitable name. When you give a cat food you call her "lady" (леди) the name of the cat soon gets used to that name. if that cat has bad memories about this name, I suggest you change it. I congratulate you. 3

Would нежная (nezhnaya) suit her ? (Or if foreign names are accepted, the English equivalent cuddly, or the French equivalent câline (pronounced : калин, if that doesn't mean anything bad in Russian 😉, although it reminds of the famous Russian song "Kalinka" ) ? 🙂
