That's basically 150 MPH, which is pretty damn fast. I'm curious, are
there many accidents on these highways? At those speeds? What
happens to the cars and the people? Can anyone survive an accident
at those speeds? Are these the Bundesautobahns or Autobahns you
are talking about? Thanks.

Yes it's the famous Autobahn. When there is no restriction you can go there as fast as you can. Of course you can't survive an accident at this speed. But at 70 mph full frontal impact is not survivable too. There are not many accidents at all. In Germany the number of people killed in traffic accidents is one of the lowest in the world. People no how to handle these fast speeds. You learn it when you learn to drive already.

There are people going even faster than me. It's not unusual to get permanently overtaken by others who go faster.  Fastest I went but not with my own car was about 300kph

Yeah they all say that until one day you fuck up and have a bad accident. But it won't be just you hurt but other innocent people as well. Speed kills and always will.

Well this your opinion. Very very few accidents happen at high speed. And you can always be dead when going only 130 kph

You can be dead just falling over and hitting your head too lool. Yep just my opinion and of many others I expect. Funny how people always find an excuse for their own actions. Just human nature really.

LOVE THE SHORTCUT POST

If you mean the shorter lines, thank you. I think it's much easier to
read than trying to follow the longer lines from left to right and
back again. It's more like reading a magazine or a newspaper with
multiple columns, but shorter lines. JMO.

Hey, @jabbath1987, I learned another German word today. Verschlimmbessern
is the act of making something worse while attempting to make it better. Is that
correct? Although I learned these two words, I don't know how to pronounce
them. Could you help with that?

Yes that is correct my friend.

You pronounce the e like an English a

The i like an English e

And the sch like an sh
