I am at a different location for a couple of days and have good WiFi connection, Prior to him hitting the dog in the GR he jumped up and grabbed it by the throat in the living room...rather like he did with The Little One a while back. If a guy has to resort to domestic abuse on a woman then he does not deserve to be in a relationship with her, and if he has to resort to violence on a pet, then he should not own one. Perhaps if he spent less time with his finger up his nasal organ, he could use the time to train the dog properly, but then again the dog is only being protective to her mistress.
