From what I've been told he's an electronic engineer specializing in micro circuitry. He's using his schooling to fix busted electronics like phones and tablets. Hence the oscilloscope and microscope at his desk. When they go out like that they're usually delivering the devices back to the client which is why he typically carries a large bag with him. But occasionally they will come pick it up and Paul has to explain what was wrong with it and how he fixed it along with explanations on his warranty. But it seems that Paul is qualified to repair circuit boards, broken screens, old tech like CRT's and much more. I've seen him working on everything from Soviet era military radios up to brand new Apple laptops. Good news is that he hasn't started a fire or shocked himself in a very long time lol. 1
