Lipstick
The sad truth is that what the genre of voyeurism has become, and what you people are participating in, is a pitiful mockery of sex. There is almost no love or passion anymore, if there ever was much of that. Sex becomes a tool of the trade. A means to a financial end, not one of pleasure or passion. Flesh hitting flesh to yield cash flow. These people are boring because they seem to have no life besides their sex work life, as they sit in their cam studios all day long. People here want to know what happened to voyeurism and they seem to be expecting to see a change back to the good ole days when things were fun and exciting, if that was ever the case. Those days are over. The idea of voyeurism in the sense of real sexually energized people living their real lives in the presence of cams is essentially dead and gone from the scope of voyeurism as its managers progress more and more into the idea of a career path of sex work on cam and moreso directly into the cam. It's not fun because it's essentially all designed with the money producing cams and contractual agreeements, in mind. The fulfillment of a deal with a site/manager who has bills to pay and children to feed. These sites can't afford to resist their greed and the tenants who come and go are mere products made of flesh who perform a temporary role for some extra money. It's just sex work that's all it really is and since they are on 24/7, they burn out, they become dull, they become repetitive, they run out of guests and combinations and since their personalities are born our of a mindset of financial desperation and not of their true selves there is no there, there, just husks of rather pitiful sex workers doing what they have to do to survive. Feeling sorry for them becomes the underlying emotion, not so much pleasure and excitment. The viewers becomes jaded by the constant sexual bursts on display across the channels, and the never ending hunt for the next jolt. Tallying up sex acts, the names and combinations thereof, the comraderie, becomes the purpose to continue their involvement. It all becomes a joke at some point really. False love for tenants, and jokes about the site, the managers, the tenants, the studios, other memebers here, etc... The performers/viewer are losing their own sense of sexuality and what it means to be an interesting, functional, human being capable of expressing love and passion towards another person in their real life. Voyeurism is not normal and it's not just a simple act of perversion, it becomes a sickness that will take its toll on your real life, be it the performers or the viewers. It's up to you to decide how much damage you are willing to accept. 💋 2 1
Jonno
Not Voyeurism and never has been...... Neither is it people living real lives. Staged camera porn shows to make a buck. 2

Staged camera porn shows to make a buck. Actually, it wasn't always entirely that way. People forget or missed it. An actual voyeur experience was possible. A genuine, fair, and willful, equal balance of exhibitionist expression. This, now, is not an expression of life and passion, rather an expression of darkness and saddness and twisted arms. The cams exude an underlying pain that must be ignored. It's that ignorance that eats away the soul. This is not a healthy expression of life and sexuality in either direction. Have been watching this sort of thing since 2014 and it's never been voyeurism or even close to the thrill of a voyeur experience. If you have ever done it you will know. Knowing you are being watched is always going to make anyone act different and try and play to them. Yes, back in the day sites were lot more day to day life, doing what normal people do and most could relate. Not setting up staged shows and making viewers think your some sort of porn star. Early days of RLC were the exact same, now look at the mess it's in. Way to make money and do what is needed, if it means using people so be it. Yes, better to watch people sleeping and wasting their lives away. Then wake up when it's time to perform. How is lesbian Leora and all the rest of the Lesbian show girls doing these days? 😃
Lipstick
You do seem to know what I meant. Of course the cams are always there. In the beginning though, there was at least some respect for the idea that voyeurism is not a girl sitting in front of a camera or having sex directly in front of the cams as if to say, watch this guys, ca'ching, usually within days if not hours or even minutes of arrival. There was at least some respect that a voyeur camera is meant to be largely ignored and not treated like a wallet.

This is very true, which in turn yields less voyeurism and more cam attention, which draws more viewers of that type, which yields less voyeurism, and more cam performances, and so it goes. In the end it turns the tenants sex life into a mockery and ruins their genuine nature and transforms them into just another sad sex cam worker. I think it makes it difficult for normal people to stomach and they leave or scale back and the drivers of these sites become the sex on demand type porn viewers. It's hard to look past the desperation many of these tenants appear to be living in 24/7. 1

Not positioning your ass and pussy directly in front for hours at a time. Nor over performing and exaggerating sex and masturbation so it just looks pathetic and 9/10 no pleasure whatsoever. Better chance of seeing someone orgasm at the butchers after getting a good lump of beef. 6
Lipstick
Just now, Jonno said: If done properly they should be ignored and forgot about best you can. Better chance of seeing someone orgasm at the butchers after getting a good lump of beef. Exactly! The point is that voyeurism, is the idea of watching people who are hopefully interesting, live their real life, in their real home, under cams that are ignored. These sites under the pressure of competition chipped away at this concept and the result is evident across all voyuer sites, not to mention the collapse of this forum. Surely a drop in the last few months from 20k to 80k on alexa internet ranking can't be ignored. Sure, people may visit, but they apparently have nothing to say because there is nothing really to say about sex cam workers. Same reason there is not an active forum for Chaturbate performers. It's just too sad and depressing.

You seem to ignore the desperation of the viewers too in their demand for such explicit sex etc, many forever just complain about the bloody cam positions, lighting, cam quality etc etc anything which distracts from stopping them seeing the sex act in all it's glory. Rather pathetic really if you read many of the posts. Many viewers must spend every waking hour almost following the tenants and recording all their actions in pictures and videos. 4
