Yeah, it makes me laugh to see this word used in this way, but I think it actually is pretty commonly used like this in America. For us, liberal is a more neutral word, it just means free, while in USA it is alot more politicized and polarized. Like everything in USA.

Another significant difference. When Americans are talking about liberals, they mean left-wing. Because their main distinction in politics is how they view social questions. Are you socially liberal, or are you socially conservative. Whereas when we Europeans talk about being liberal, we most commonly mean center-right, or right. Because our political scale is mainly based on economics. Either you are socialistic (want regulated market), or you are a liberal (who want free market).

She counts! The problem is that if you have couples in a group house is the shyness & jealousies of the women & men who are a part of the couple. It's just the nature of most women and men. There's a huge difference between a couple having sex in their own space versus with other people in the room. If the men are pros as well as the women then you eliminate that problem, of-course then there's the problem of calling it "RLC". 

I really don't care what they choose to do and it wouldn't matter if I did. just a thought...
