The closest I could come to saying it, in English, would be like the "ja" in Jabba the Hut. Or, if you want to go with a long "a" sound, like the "ja" in Jay. You could also say it with a short "a" sound, like the "ja" in jab. Did I pass?

Me being funny nahhh unheard of Having said that even if it is written as Anja it would be pronounced as Anya though as we are only dealing with the written word on here technically it would be Anja.
