Lack of empathy has been the observable deficiency in Leora's character since the beginning. It was not until comments on this forum  persisted that Leora started to reciprocate towards Malia in the showtime script. I was not until it was mentioned several times here that Leora even went into Malia's room..about a year after she moved in. Loosing Malia as a show prop will have no greater effect on Leora's behavior than if someone had changed one of the bulbs in her spotlight. The show will go on! The question is Who will still want to watch the show?

Don't know, but I would guess that contractually, Malia may need to do so many bates per month for the bonus check.
