It was 'normal'. Birth control and no-fault divorce changed that. Speaking for myself, if my beloved wife wasn't disabled I'd never have looked for much less subscribed to RLC or joined camcaps. The old way might seem boring today, but kids had their real mom and dad and family had dinner together. Say what you want but I long for the old days. Growing up the stores were closed at 5:30PM the dads worked and came hone and ate dinner with their family. Sundays were closed, not even sports. Again, it's great fun to watch Leora but I wish we could go back to the 50s and Leave It to beaver and Ozzie and Harriett.
