Nina & Kira - General Chat Comments, Quotes & Thanks for Pictures & Videos January to July (2017)

Really good to hear them speak in English to the camera, explaining about their life in Russia. Everything from their wedding, to the way they are treated by the police due to their sexuallity.

Blondie seems to be the one with the most English.  Thank you girls

Sadly I missed this so didn't hear what they were saying about the way they are treated but I have to say I do admire Nina and Kira. They often appear to have a troubled relationship but in the end they simply live their lives as they wish regardless of anyone or anything.

Exposing their lives on RLC is a brave thing to do especially whilst living in a society that treats gays with violent contempt. For that they deserve total respect.

Her English is very good and it was nice to hear about their lives. And its good to hear they are going on vacation next friday, I haven't seen them take a vacation since they have been on here, it is well deserved. I missed the start of it but did they say where they are from? It sounded like they are not from Moscow or St.Petersburg but rather a small town. I hope they talk to us again!

Sorry Stevec, I didn't catch all of the conversation, the same as you, so I didn't hear where they are from. Blondie was saying that if they walk down the street holding hands, and the police see it, they can be fined ??? roubles, about 90 euros. I believe Blondie commented that next time, she will speak on other matters about their life, looking forward to that.

I think they're in St. Petersburg, but I missed that conversation in English. When did it take place? Maybe I can see it again with the "Replay"?

I confirm, nina said if you kiss your girlfriend on the street or if you walk down the street holding hands you can be fined or even go to the police station one day.

elle a aussi expliquer que c'est parce que en russie les politiques pensent que cela peut choquer les enfants...

She also  explained that it 's  because in Russia the politics think that it can shock the children..

Yes it's true. Over the past few years, new laws were made in Russia in many cities. Against the gay and lesbian people. They even mixed homosexuality with paedophily. That's so incredibly stupid. You can check the topic on Wikipedia e.g. Very brave and good they talked about it.

She also said if one of them is very ill in the hospital they cannot visit because they are not technically family. It's very sad that they are not treated fairly or equally when they are clearly very kind and thoughtful people. Its my understanding that St.Petersburg is slightly more liberal than the rest of Russia which is probably why they said that they like St.Petersburg but not ALL of Russia. I wish them the best, it is not easy living oppressed like that. I too, look forward to hearing them again.

I just watched the entire conversation, and I must say this is an unprecedented event on RLC. This was real. Three girls openly talking about their lives is a very brave thing to do. And entertaining too. By doing this they earn even more respect.

Happy holidays girls!

Can you remember what they said? It would be good to get a feel for how the discussion went?
