If there was one thing that these talent shows prove is that nearly all the talent has already been found. If you really have genuine talent an A&R person will have told you by now. Cowell already knew Will Young and Leona Lewis, but 13 weeks free publicity by staging a mock talent show where you know the result is great promotion for his artists. Over at B1 they all look knackered.
