Call me stupid but I never heard the word bishop or archbishop for it

what they are trying to say is the the helmet, knob end, bell end,whatever you call it looks like a bishops hat,hence the term bashing the bishop.this example is the bishop chess piece.

Never heard of that in the UK either... we call it "pulling your wire"  or "stroking the dog" ..... "Bashing" seems a bit harsh...

I'm in the UK and have heard most variations including this and choking the chicken, 5 knuckle shuffle, Palm & her 5 sisters and so on.
