how can a website like cc survive?
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to barcelonafan's topic in Random Discussion
Dude, California's biggest cash crop isn't served at a dinner table. You could fill a fleet of tractor-trailers 24/7 with the harvests in the hills around here. Know any good drivers? Great pay per mile, team drivers welcome. (Can Kiko drive a truck?) -

Actually, Camcaps has a trained squirrel that steals candy from little children and then offs it at a huge profit to rich yuppie pot tokers in Colorado who have the muchies. -
Anezka and Karel

As I recall, Zoya & Lev's apartment started out really rocky with people of questionable stability up until Diana & Efim moved in. So maybe we'll be luckier this time with the quality of the couple. As upndown suggests, the existence of books is a good omen. -

I think people don't stay long in that apartment because they go stark-raving insane trying to find triangular furniture at the local Ikea. I mean, have you ever tried to fit a square in a triangular box? -
There seems to be a huge misunderstanding of what constitutes liberals vs conservatives, and Right vs Left. These concepts are relative, and dependent upon times and the actual cultures in which they occur. There is also a difference between types of liberalism and conservatism: it can be political, financial, religious, and/or social, depending upon the views of an individual, and often these are mixed. Bush, for example, was a religious conservative, but a political and financial liberal. Palin is a flaming religious "conservative," which can make someone a political "liberal" immediately in my books. Reagan was at heart a Goldwater conservative: but he was a operating in a huge political morass known as the Federal Government. The heart of Goldwater conservatism is based on the intent of the founders: The purpose of the Government is to maximize the freedom of the individuals as much as practically possible. Most Goldwater conservatives I know are now considered Libertarians, not big-government Democrats or Republicans. The Tea Party is generally composed of an odd mix of Libertarians and Evangelicals who worry that their rights are being eroded. It's an odd mix because Evangelicals don't believe in gay marriage; Libertarians don't think that the Almighty government on any level has any right to tell us with whom we can sign a civil domestic contract. Trump is clearly a political and financial liberal. That's why Buckley/Goldwater conservative magazines don't support him. Read publications such as Reason, Weekly Standard, and National Review, and you'll see why they dislike him. Goldwater conservatism is essentially based on the work of the Founding Fathers, who, in their time, were considered "liberals" whilst the English monarchy was considered "conservative." Things change. Even Goering considered his political party to be "Leftists" (along with their International Socialist enemies), and Weimar Republicans were considered "Moderates" and the German Kaiser's aristocracy were considered "Conservative." It is important to avoid buzz words unless they are strictly defined in their context, and this will differ between all of us. This is why this thread looks like assorted tin cans and vomited macaroni. I'm a registered Libertarian, but not from the pot smoking branch of the party; but if this political election crap keeps going on, I may need to start toking just so my head doesn't explode. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Has World War 3 Already Begun?
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to itsme's topic in Worldwide Political Discussions
Sadly, Ozi was kidnapped and has been held hostage by a group of kangaroo insurgents. Haven't seen him in quite a while on the board. Pity. Aussie's are great fun, and that analysis Ozi presented was far beyond the scope of most Western populist "News" providers. -
I'd like to see a refutation of this. And I'd like to see it here, in this topic and thread. Thank you.

Please excuse our mess during reconstruction. Your patience is highly appreciated. Please do not cross the yellow "CAUTION" lines.

There is a reason we prohibit RLC hacks here. It's not to protect RLC and their DMCA rights, though we respect their wishes, but it's to prevent our members from getting their computers utterly destroyed by Trojans and other virus infections. It's a big bad world out there, and CC should not become a part of it.

Welcome to CC. When Efim and Diana first appeared, they were in what is now Lev and Zoya's apartment. The relationship was stressed at times. Then they broke up, she left him, and he showed up with her once at Nelly's. She has since been replaced by this mysterious violinist, who has not been named yet. I'm a very big fan of Diana, but I must give Efim credit for his taste in women.

To me, it's not a manner of legality. It's a matter of being a gentleman. You see, I only play the part of a Squirrel on CC. Never hit a man when he's down, and never hit a woman, ever. Seems simple to me. If she doesn't want that kind of attention from CC, she won't suffer it until I'm banned as a mod. Simple. My word is my bond. -

I see a moral reason why it is beneficial to treat RLC tenants with respect. I also see an economic one. Besides, I'm rather fond of the RLC tenants. I wouldn't have the guts to do what they do, and neither would any one here, except for maybe the RLC tenants who visit and who no doubt laugh endlessly at our stupid speculations, crassness, and childish lack of respect for others. -
Jolly good news, ol' chum. You simply must stop in for tea more often! ;-)

Where is Nelly???
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to splify's topic in Nelly & Bogdan (05/13/15 - 06/19/19)
All the couples you first mentioned came from the time that RLC was trying to be about the real life of normal, everyday young couples. Even the couples who were involved in the entertainment industry didn't play to the cameras. All of these couples had and still have huge fan clubs. They've become distant "friends" of sorts. Now, RLC has changed focus and added in vivacious models and showgirls, who some of us oldsters think play to the cameras a bit too much, and who do not last very long on RLC. The St.Petersburg crowd has couples that have amazing talents and help bridge the gap, and Dasha and Demid are the central locus of that group. RLC is much bigger that it was; it's broadened the range of its audience, and some of us will have different tastes. Click on the ones you like; ignore the ones that you don't. Chances are, other people enjoy them. Personally, Pepe and myself have offered to move Leora to our forest homes free of charge, but she's always balked when we told her that Paul and Scooter would have to stay where they are... (insert shit-eating-grin emoticon here) And Alina was probably of Mongolian extraction, no doubt descended from the great Khan himself. She was a princess to many around here. Just don't be offending Meerkat. That cat rocked. -
Saw them cover the sky in the Yukon. Every color of the spectrum was there, and I could here a distinct crackle as the ribbons drifted by. Thanks for the video.

This is the current judgement: Posts from RLC cams can be posted in the Apartment Sections. Descriptions of what's happening outside (which around here means lurid speculation) are allowed. Pictures and videos of tenants or their guests captured from NON-RLC cams are prohibited. This is no different from the way we have been operating in the past and should pose no problems to members. -

Actually, b33fheart, the whole Internet now suffers from DMCA venerability. Unless you go to the deep web. That's still a bit of the old yar-har-har and a bottle of rum pirate type of thing down there in the depths, but it's not safe as milk, either. I'm cool with that. This is, after all, an RLC apartment thread; not a general outside of RLC cam show thread. She's agreed to that by staying in an RLC apartment. However, her pictures captured from Cam4 should not be posted here.
