Let me refine my statement, because I know we are in agreement. I have constantly tried to defend the RLC men against the "My penis is bigger and better than his" statements. I defended Stefan for quite some time, but I lost faith in him when he became obviously so hurtful to Alma's feelings. I personally feel that Ruslan had a medical issue. Marcello was, well, odd, but so was his woman. Some of the other guys simply have no goals in life: at least they didn't or don't exhibit it. These gentlemen later earned their some of their derisive comments, but to judge any of them INSTANTLY when they first appear is what you mean by "clueless." For example: Paul has suffered extreme abuse; none of it is justified. Kiko suffered abuse; none of it was justified. Even Stepan, Efim, and Anton got abuse from the moment they first arrived. All of these were intelligent, kind to their women (despite the fact that most of the women are problematic as well), intelligent, and trying to make something of their lives. Little Squirrel is the last to judge people immediately: the best we can do here is to observe and hope that some of the couples are here as a stepping stone to a better life: others seem to have simply parked on RLC for the rent. We cannot really know their full stories, and certainly can't figure out who they are when they first appear at CamCaps. Accordingly, I will let Lucas and Veronica go about their business. As long as walls don't get punched in and knives drawn and medics called...

Of current couples, Alina and Anton have been at RLC the longest. This is followed by: L&P M&S S&R D&E A&D and now V&L The shortest stay might have been Angela. I've only been wasting time at RLC & CC since the beginning of 2013; Woof or JoJo could offer corrections. RLC, as even a newbie would notice, has had the best success with the Siberian and the Barcelona apartments. They've been there the longest, and have developed their recruiting system -- utilizing the tenants themselves to recruit their friends/cousins. St. Petersburg is a new demographic territory for RLC. They've hit a home run with D&E, and should network with that bunch of people. Sadly, Katya & Ruslin's apartment has been full of street people who can't maintain a steady or productive life-style: of course, that's why they were street people to begin with. Maybe RLC will focus on recruiting students drawn from D&E's sub-culture. I'm hoping for the Girl in the Red Dress, myself. :P

I'm willing to give them some time to settle down before the CamCaps peanut gallery starts throwing tomatoes at the dude. RLC guys always get this treatment from us at first. (Sadly, 75% of them end up earning it...)

It's a mystery to me, Dth. All I can do is speculate. I know that some CamCaps posters said they were getting banned over a year ago (before the braille watermark), even when they cropped the lower-left hand ID mark out of the picture. They had often posted these to a third party service. Perhaps. I know that many places have been issued "DMCA" take-down notices. I can only speculate. And believe me, I friggen' LOVE to speculate. At CamCaps, speculation is our stock-in-trade. We do it often, and we do a damn good job at it. So I've decided that the CamCaps Admin has obtained scurrilous dirt on one of the RLC owners, something to do with homosexuality or international espionage or drug deals and gambling debts. Maybe he has proof that the RLC owner's (and tenants) are actually Lizard People. Obviously this information has also been obtained by UL; since they don't seem to be much bothered by RLC's DMCA take-down requests, either. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the FSB, NSA, MI6 and Mossad are all paying their 12 bucks a year to Admin, just to keep this place open so that they can perform complex exchanges of captured personnel and to work lucrative deals. I don't think the tenants know who or when someone is watching. RLC is a business and certainly must keep statistical data of who is watching which tenants and how long they watch them. Whether RLC pays the popular couples a "bonus" for their viewers per minute is unknown to me. Perhaps one of the tenants who hangs out here at CamCaps would be kind enough to clue us in...

I believe you do not understand that I was laughing at Americans who have forced me to spend money on expensive devises that do not work properly. That includes CFL light bulbs (I am constantly replacing them -- they don't last if you turn them on and off, and I always turn off lights when I leave the room), a front-loading washing machine that required two washing cycles to clean clothes and died within a few years, and toilets that often must be flushed twice. We own a clothes dryer -- but hang our clothes out to dry, just like the Russians and Spanish do; and a dishwasher, but we wash the dishes by hand and empty the rinse water in the garden. I have no resentment toward any person who is not from my country. I would love to visit Barcelona. Spain is beautiful. I would love to visit Russia (except in winter).
