Dammit. The older ones are quite beautiful machines, finely engineered. I've kept a Smith-Corona and an Olympia: the keyboard action far exceeds that of any computer I've ever had. Kinda the difference between a Caddy and a Yugo; kinda a difference between a manual or an automatic transmission in a sports car. Ribbons are available, and you can be entirely off-line 24-7 and still produce a written product without using fossil fuels or being distracted by CamCaps or RLC. Very nifty devices, old typewriters are.

Scooter is the name we have given to L&P's dog, because Leora and Paul never call their dog by name loud enough to be picked up by the microphone. We make up names for the pets, since RLC doesn't provide them with names like they do the tenants. Meerkat, Agent Dog, Qualude, etc. It's helpful since some of these pets are a big part of of RLC. But nobody has named all of Maya's fish yet... :(

Arabic is difficult. I'm lucky. I only need to learn Mexican Spanish. They write in Roman letters. On the other hand, we might both need to learn Mandarin...that's going to be painful...

N&K advertised for Disney in their guest room. Alina & Mark had a lucrative contract with KFC, as I recall. I never saw what brand they fed Snowball & Coal Dust, nor did I see what N&K fed Agent Dog, but it was probably soup. Don't know what Meerkat ate, either, but I know he was very attentive to beer when it was on the dinner table. That cat seriously rocked. Methinks maybe Purina should sign up all the couples. Then, maybe Diana and Efim could get a cat and cash in big time. (Stick with cats: dog's block up the action. No offense to Scooter, of course.)

You guys know WTF this site is all about? I don't suggest touching any .exe stuff here, but the blog comes accompanied with pictures from RLC, and a commentary that is totally irrelevant and always calls them "cam girls" and references Renae Cruz. I generally stay away from stuff like this, being a timid squirrel, but it's just fucking weird so I thought I'd bring it to your attention.
