I never used the Camcaps "shoutout" when we had it; like Twitter, it's usually not thoughtful. CC Admin was wise to pull it.

I think we're simply going to have to keep bumping our asses on the ground like wingless frogs. We all understand that on-line translators mangle languages, but generally we can understand quite a bit. I use a translator if I'm interested in a particular thread or if a poster is an expert on a tenant -- for example, we English speakers didn't know what was going on with Alma and Goon Boy, so I turned to posts by Alma Big Ass and our Spanish friends, and took the time to research what they said. I can understand setting up multiple threads, but there is a lot of information which can be commonly shared, and half the fun of CC is getting to understand people from different countries and cultures. How about raising the membership price by one dollar and use that to subsidize free membership for members who demonstrate an ability to translate between these languages? Polyglots and human translators would be really helpful around here. I don't think these proposed changes will be beneficial, and I'm sure policing numerous sub-boards would be a pain in the ass for you...

Alina&Anton lived there? In the old days, all RLC women's names looked alike. Lina, Alina, Ana, Danna etc. However, this particular apartment was inhabited by two lesbians, one named Ana, the other Danna, so I should have said "Ana & Danna." My error. Forgive me. I didn't watch this couple much, but when I did, they were entertaining as all hell, and one of them was quite cute. Since most of us didn't know which one was which, we were forced to refer to them as "Skinny" and "Fatty." They're in the "Retired" section of the Forum. They had an explosive break-up and left just before Alma & Stefan's arrival. (Just a little history for the Newbies...)

I don't have anything against these gentlemen, really. I don't judge, I merely observe and speculate. I speculate that if they both left, RLC should talk Leora into moving to Barcelona (weather's better) and becoming room mates with Alma. This apartment was originally A&A's, so the place has a certain history, if you know what I mean...

Regarding bacri3's excellent video -- I'm much more positive about them now. And damn, she's got good stomach muscles...
