I don't know if a Member can tell if they're being ignored or not. One way to know would be is noticing a fewer responses to posts as usual or if they try to PM someone they wouldn't be able to send the PM if they are on that Members Ignore List. PM's could actually be a couple of things. Ignored a Member or if they are not a Premium Member they're Inbox could be full as Non Premium Members are allowed 50 PM Limit for storage whereas a Premium Member is Unlimited.

The current Ignore List has 4 Options. Posts, Messages (PM), Signatures and Mentions. Posts we all know what that is. Messages would be PM's. Signatures is underneath a persons post some members like to be creative and they'll appear on every post they make. Mentions are if someone mentions you in a Topic which you'd receive a notification if you happened to be mentioned that is done by @Robwin highlighting a name.

I use Microsoft Edge and I also use Brave Browser. I haven't noticed any issues with emoticons. Sometimes resetting the Browser back to its Default Settings and then reset them to your preferences sometimes works. Especially Chrome and Firefox Browsers they are always constantly updated with newer versions and sometimes those updates make other features not work as they should then after a reset sometimes it fixes the issue. If your using a handheld device things may appear differently with emoticons as the screen resolution is not all that best on some devices.

If a Member makes a post you won't see it if they are on your ignore list. The only thing you will be able to see if the Member has quoted other posts. There is a new version of Forum Software that's still in development and maybe they'll have that part added in so if a Member is Ignored then the Posts and the quotes are not seen. Will have to wait and see once it's released. Hopefully that is soon.

There is a simple solution. Just add the Member to your Ignore list then you won't know if any trolling or not is going on from that Member. If too much traffic gets pulled away from an Open Forum Admin will take notice of this and take action to remedy the traffic problem.
