I doubt that VH's CFO is validating the payment to the number of views.
Too fluctuating and dangerous: imagine that the number of views doubles without increasing the number of members!
On his website, VH writes that he pays 50% of the subscriptions to the participants. I think that the 50% paid to all tenants is distributed proportionally to the connection time of each apartment (prorata temporis).
This model is fairly stable for VH revenues but not necessarily for renters. Indeed, at equal number of subscriptions, when the number of apartments increases everyone is paid less in equal connection time.

I can quite agree with you.
However - it is undoubted - who has more connections, takes more money.
With my table of today I just wanted to show you that you can have a good connection time without practically doing anything.

This is the principle! More connection time, more money.
I pointed out, in my previous post, that if subscriptions do not increase and the number of apartments increases, mechanically the share of each drops (in equal connection time.)
I congratulate you on your appointment as CC statistician.

No!

Your table does not show how many views the apartment has had. It might have had none. Your numbers only show how many people are reading the topic on CC and in fact every time you post an article or read a post in the topic then the numbers go up, so each time you are adding to your own statistics. Also have you not noticed that there is a 'views' count for each topic (see image) which will increase each time it is viewed even if you go back and look at older closed sections the counter will go up.  Your statistics only show the level of usage of the forums and has no bearing on the number of views in VHTV.

Thank you for your clarification Arkay.

I try to understand how the mechanism of earnings works but I probably will never know.

Have a nice evening.

Hi Arkay, I keep asking this queation and never get a straight answer. What action by a subscriber constitutes a "view"?  Is there a certain amount of time you need to stay on a tenant to get them a view? If i click on Ana, then click on say Em, and then Ana, then Violet, then Ana, then Alan, then Ana then Nyusha, then Ana, over a five minute period, is that 5 views for Ana,  And if i just stayed on Ana for 5 minutes, is that one view? If you know and can explain what a sub does that gives a tenant a view, i would appreciate it!

Regard the views the fair thing would be..when zapping throw the houses(just few seconds in each place)it doesn't count as view ,and if we stay watching an house for minimal 5,10min than it's an view and counts, think that's what's make most sense.
