Amy3 Posted December 26, 2018 Share Posted December 26, 2018 Allowing camstars was and is a bad idea. I tried to convince VHTV of this a long time ago. What you have to understand is that VHTV is not in the business of preserving a voyeur experience. They are fine with it if it happens and that's what the tenants want, but if the whole site becomes full of camstars they are fine with that too. VHTV just opens the gates and lets anyone in without much scrutiny and lets the viewers steer the progression. That's noble of them, but because there is money involved, camstars put a lot of pressure on the other tenants to perform at the camstar level for survival. Like it or not, camstars are popular and they can go for hours doing the same routine each day. I think it's a form of cheating and it muddles the whole nature of what the site is supposed to be about. I tried and failed to convince VHTV to set boundaries in order to preserve the idea of voyuerism. I suggested a small salary for all as a way to give space to the normal voyeur types of tenants who really just want to live their life on cam (Violet and Jeff). BUT, all of my attempts were met with a big fat NO! And so, VHTV moved full steam ahead! Amy's School of Voyeurism was rejected because VHTV didn't want to be a copy of RLC. I disagreed! I think the small salary with options for bonus viewer pay would be different and importantly, would have allowed them to be able to claim that they have something for everyone. Unfortunately, they disagreed and as such, the progression continues to push out the types of tenants who just want to live their real life on cam. Currently, those types of tenants cannot survive here without a second income. And the Alexa numbers for VHTV continue to sink. VHTV has to ask itself, will there be a large enough audience willing to pay for live sex cam shows in bad lighting when all of the traditional voyeurs leave?
