The problem is that there is so much saturation in the porn industry and so much of it is free that even the most in demand actress don't make as much as actresses did before the big porn surge in the mid 2000's. Therefore every girl must try to become her own "brand" in order to make the most money from exposure. And some nowadays will even try to make a name for herself first before trying to get into the professional adult industry.
