Thus, policing needs to be restructured. If the police respond to a mental health call, somebody will probably die - because they have no mental health training. And I believe in these cases of extreme force, and extreme pleas which they are not trained to determine if the plea is accurate (claustrophobia) a supervisor should come to the scene, who might have additional training. The police are trained that if you feel threatened - shoot to kill. If you shoot and don't kill you might be terminated.
