A few complain about the girls always on their phones. Glued to them. In todays world if you are on social media and want to keep up with what your mates are doing (and family) its likely you could be on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Whats App. I have enough trouble making time for my Whats App and this forum. Once you finish reading one platform its time to go to the next one, then the next and so on - its never ending. I agree but we are stuck with it now - and it may just get stronger. I did wonder if the RLC peoples socilialised more, but then its easier now to get people together by texting. TBF i hope he is getting some elsewhere, might have a real job as well, could be doing that several nights/days a week. The smartphone has obviously made all the difference to the world, and on the upside I can video chat with one of my sons who lives 7000km away, and it costs nothing! Well I'm pretty sure you don't need to have it alongside your dinner plate and when your taking a dump, nothing is that important you need it in your hand constantly.
