I absolutely love my iPhone!  What I don't understand is why Apple can't or won't update the flash player version so I can view RLC without downloading some other browser!  Is it a security thing or something else that prevents them from updating it to current standards?  Any iPhone guru's out there that can explain it to me to where I can understand it?  Thanks for any and all comments!!

Thanks Mikey, that's actually the browser that I chose to use!  I just don't understand how or why they can't do something to keep from compromising what websites you can or cannot view.  Oh well, thanks again for the response.

Apple won't use flash because its slow and battery consuming. The change that RLC will support HTML5 is bigger then Apple supporting flash cause that will never happen.

RLC in HTML5 is the best solution, and ill hope they will do it

RLC will have to switch to HTML 5 at some point as flash is going to be blocked in all mainstream browsers. I am not sure what their streaming infrastructure looks, but if it's based on a Flash system such as Adobe Media Server it's going to be an expensive upgrade. As far as Apple products go, I've always been  a Window and Android fan boy. However, I was recently given an IPad and I really like it for general web browsing and e-mail, probably better than android. That being said I wouldn't switch to Apple for anything other a tablet.

I understand your desire to use windows & android based products, however I know allot of people that were in your same boat and once they went to apple products they never went back to windows/android products except for one person I know.  He started with apple and then changed to android and is now back to apple.  The only reason he went to android as he told me was because they had a phone that you could change the battery and sd card out in where apple did not.  I was talking to him at a wedding reception Saturday night and he told me he was done with android for good and showed me his new iPhone 6+.  LOL there is hope for you all.

When do you think RLC would have to go to HTML5?

Apple makes pretty things that have nice looking user interfaces. However, in the business world Windows is king. Apple products are a pain in the ass to try to support, and depending on the industry it is impossible to find compatible software. Even for power users it is a pain to try to find programs that run on Macs. If all you're doing on your computer is browsing the internet, using Office, and watching porn then Apple is fine. Another draw back to Apple products is that they are expensive for what you get. You could build two Windows systems with the same hardware specs, for the price of one mac pro.  As far as Android VS Apple, the android store is much larger than the Apple store and you can customize Android devices far more than you can Apple devices.

ITSME....It's almost like you are my twin, because I was gonna write almost word for word what you just wrote today,I was going to do it last night but I fell asleep before I got the chance to do so,you are 100% right about Apple, they make the best looking tech in the world but they don't always make the best tech in the world, next to porn and women technology is my next favorite subject :lmao: :lmao:

Let me put it as simple as I can :hi: :hi: :hi:

Apple makes the best Laptops Macbook Pro

Samsung makes the best phones when it comes to power, newest features and performance,Galaxys6 ,edge,Note etc.

Apple makes the best looking phones the Iphone6,Plus etc.

Android Os gives you the ability to customize of your tech, phones,Tablets, watches etc.

Apple ios gives you simplicity, and is the easiest Os to learn.

Roku makes the best streaming device the Roku3.

Windows is good for watching porn and recording shit from RLC,I wouldn't recommend using your mac for doing that.

Google makes the best Tablets Nexus 7&9.

Apple makes the best looking Tablets Ipad air,Ipad mini and coming soon the Ipad Pro.

Android is just like your computer where if I'm anywhere and I want to download a movie,a song, porn or anything that you normally do with your computer, you can do it with your android device,

With Apple you are basically enslaved and tethered to them and gotta go through them for everything that you need to install on your apple device, and if you want to do anything outside of Apple you gotta jailbreak your apple device to do so.

If you want a simple device without having to be from the geek squad to operate your device then Apple is your best bet, they make their Iphones and all their devices very simple to use were even your grandparents can operate it.

If you love a phone that got the fastest processors, most features, and can do everything that a guy/girl who loves the newest technology then Samsung is the way to go.

Avast is the best antivirus software in the entire world,no competition there.

But at the end of the day though,we each have our own personal preferences as to what we like.

Been jailbreaking my devices since the first iPod Touch (which is almost 8 years ago)

and I must say I cant live without one anymore. So much tweaks and customizations to make your iPhone the best one.

to Itsme, the size of the store doesnt really matter. you only see about 30% off it, you have no idea how many asian apps there are, incl all kinds of bullshit apps no-one wants. And the customization part, youre right, without a jailbreak you can customize for more easier on an android then on iOS.

I have a question from a member that I can't answer because I don't have a smart phone ---

The question is: Will the Google translate button at the bottom of our CC pages work with a smart phone or does that require a separate app? Will it work on Iphones, or just Android?

Thanks for your assistance, my phone friends.

---------------------
