One last thing, please correct me if I'm
wrong : if I try right clicking on the image
corresponding to the space , and keep ,
what I get is a html link. that does not
show the image ...

----------------------------------------------------

You're right, if you right-click on a blank space and you end up with a htm
or html file, that won't be the image you were hoping to get.

This may be difficult to explain, but I'll give it a shot. I'll use Hope's picture
and GIF file posts, because they're very large, but it doesn't matter whose
files you see, it's all the same. And when I say, "click", I'm referring to a
right-click, unless otherwise noted. "Click" also means to click on "Save
image as" or whatever phrase your browser uses.

Based on my experience, you will see either a large blank space, equal to
the size of the picture or GIF, the file name of the picture or GIF or neither
of these two. If you see either of the first two and click on the large, white
space or the file name, you should download the media you can't see at
the moment. If you click on anything else, you will probably end up with a
htm or html file, which you don't want.

Sometimes, if you don't see either of the first two options above, a page
refresh (F5, but there are other ways, as well), will allow you to see them.

I hope this is helpful. If you have questions, I will try to answer them. Good
luck.
