  1. Hunting is a common pastime in Australia. There are plenty of species suitable for the dinner table as well as plague proportions of feral, introduced species that need culling, to keep all hunters amused and occupied twelve months of the year. What Australia has accepted though is that genuine hunters don't require assault rifles, military style semi-automatic weapons, not necessary for hunting purposes. I am however, not against owning weapons. On the contrary, I own a number including a couple of pistols. Again, Australia's gun laws do require membership of pistol clubs to justify the need to own a pistol, with mandatory membership timeframes before becoming eligible to purchase said weapons. Sadly, Australia is heading the same way as America, with numerous gun offences occurring and the need for some form of self defence in certain regions. I can't speak for America and how the current situations arose, chicken or the egg dilemma, but in Australia the need for weapons is a result of too many bad guys with guns and not enough good guys with them. What was that Sean Connery movie quote, taking a knife to a gun fight. As for the basic human right of deciding for yourself how many children you want and can afford to feed, clothe, educate and house. Awesome, don't have a problem with that. I have three kids and would do anything to support and protect them, anything. We have three because we decided that my wife would stay home to grow and nurture our kids, not farm them out to childcare and let some stranger do it. After the birth of the third, we stopped producing because I already had two jobs to support my family, there weren't enough hours in the day or days in the week, to take on a third. What I do object to is that society expects me to contribute a portion of my hard earn wages to subsidised the lazy bludgers that can't keep their dicks in their pants, pump out children at a rate that would put rabbits to shame, knowing the social welfare system, that I subsidise, will support them. Have enough kids, you can earn well above the basic wage as well as thousands that can be conned from various programmes and charities. So yes, there is justification for controlled breeding programmes and zero population growth in some areas. How do you think the fucking Indians and Pakistanis, as well as numerous other races, ended up with their current over population problems. Mass sterilisation is certainly required, or simply let them die off till they reach a sustainable level before we support them. Harsh, probably, tough love generally is. In 1901, Australia introduced what was basically a white Australia policy. Worked fine until the last vestiges were removed in the late 60s and early 70s. When we had a predominantly white population, with basic Christian values and a Christian work ethic, we didn't have anywhere near the problems we have now. A classic example, it might only be the minority of muslims that cause the problems, with the majority remaining silent. But if we didn't have any muslims we wouldn't have a problem at all. We are also allowing other ethnic groups into the country, that don't integrate, particularly from some of the overpopulated black nations. We have enough to contend with our own blacks without importing more.
  2. Quite an articulate comment, even dummies wouldn't need the dumb emoticons. You certainly don't need them to express yourself.
  3. WTF do you guys think you are watching? I Know...........
  4. First Holden Utility (Ute) went into production in 1951. This is the shape of the current model Holden ute. Utes even have their own racing class. That's a Ford ute in 1st place (and 2nd), my preference.
  5. Syria is sought of a proxy war, or what we call a Clayton's war. Clayton's was a non-alcoholic mixer that supposedly tasted like a spirit (tasted more like all the known spirits mixed together) and was promoted as the drink you're having when you're not having a drink. There are three wars in Syria. One of the real wars is the civil war, with militants trying to overthrow the government. The second real war is the regional war, between the sunnis, Shi'ites, kurds and a dozen other factions. The third war has nothing to do with Syria, it's dying superpowers in their death throws, wannabe superpowers who really can't cut it, mixed in with a few sheep like Australia and Canada, who have no idea what the fuck it's really all about, whose population thinks we should be doing something, whose governments are either playing the patriot card to prop up their own credibility, or are wannabe statesmen and think they can emulate people like Churchill. If you want to classify the middle east as a world war, which it always has been, you'll have to give it a minus number, because it started before WWI, which was originally the Great War, the war to end all wars. It only ended up being called WWI so they could name the next one WWII.
  6. Mark Levin has some pretty solid credentials, worked in the Reagan administration. Seems to me though, he's stating the fucking obvious a bit and that article appears to be 12 months old, so probably a prelude to a book launch to get some publicity.
  7. The Iranian Ambassador to the UN had just finished giving a speech and walked out into the lobby where he met an American General. They shook hands, and as they walked the Iranian said, "You know, I have just one question about what I have seen in America .." The General said, "Well, anything I can do to help you, I will" The Iranian whispered "My son watches this show 'Star Trek' and in it there is Chekhov who is Russian, Scotty who is Scottish, Uhura who is Black and Sulu who is Japanese, but no Muslims. My son is very upset and doesn't understand why there aren't any Iranians, Iraqis, Afghans, Syrians or Pakistanis on Star Trek." The General laughed, leaned toward the Iranian ambassador, and whispered back, "That's because it takes place in the future".
  8. I'm a bit confused, you claim it's all scripted, call the tenants actors and pornactors, and then complain they are cheating. Then you suggest to not take it too seriously. If it's scripted and they are actors, then how can it be cheating and how can you therefore take it seriously?
  9. And I thought you 'liked' my post. By the way, did you mean smut? Can't find definition for smutt.
  10. Make sure you only pm that info to your trusted contacts, just to make sure some fruit cake, obsessive nutter doesn't receive it as well. Or we could just back off and move on. They are NOT on RLC anymore so have nothing to do with CC since they left.
  11. Yeah, but what would happen if the girls did come back and I was away doing some course? Can I do it on line, that way I could stay logged on just in case?
  12. I think you need to do more research, that problem exists in many, many countries, not just Russia. Despite the fact that Australia did have a woman Prime Minister, women receiving much lower wages in many fields is quite common.
  13. I'm surprised nobody suggested you get a life and move on.
  14. So the old fella passes away and when he gets up to the pearly gates, St Peter is there waiting for him and directs him into his office. 'What's that on the wall behind you?' asks the old man. 'That's the lying clocks' says St Peter. 'Everyone has a lying clock, when you tell a lie, they click forward'. 'Whose is that?' says the old man. 'That's Mother Theresa's clock', said St Peter, 'it's never moved because she's never lied and that's Abraham Lincoln's, only ever moved twice because he only ever lied twice'. Being an old Republican, he had to ask 'Where's Obama's clock?' 'In God's office', replied St Peter, 'He uses it as a ceiling fan'.
  15. "YouTube is a video-sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California, United States. The service was created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005. In November 2006, it was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion" Not really sure RLC can quite match that sort of budget. PS. Tried your suggestion, my computers better than I thought!
  16. I am in favour of capital punishment; in fact I think they should bring back corporal punishment in schools and for some offences. Nothing like a bit of public flogging and maybe stop them committing the more serious crimes that require capital punishment. And maybe capital punishment doesn’t save the first victim, but it will stop there being a second, or third, or fourth. In Australia, like many jurisdictions, you can commit multiple rapes and murders, sometimes while on bail, and not get anything remotely close to life. But not good old Georgia, USA. The only woman on Georgia’s death row was executed by lethal injection early Wednesday morning following a series of legal challenges that delayed her execution by several hours. Kelly Gissendaner was convicted of convincing her boyfriend to murder her husband; she didn’t even commit the murder. And the guy that did, got life, which probably means he may get out eventually. Whoever runs Georgia needs to run master classes on punishing offenders.
  17. Sometimes Fortune favours the bold, sometimes Fortune favours the brave (singular). Is also: - title of a book about Canadian Military History; - title of a book about the Korean War; - slight variation, Fortune helps the strong, one unit of the US Army Infantry; - etc; - etc; - etc. Audaces Fortuna Iuvat, sometimes Fortes fortuna iuvat and sometimes Audentis Fortuna Iuvat But the original came from The Aeneid which is a Latin epic poem, written by Virgil between 29 and 19 BC
  18. If the first word is Audaces, it's a French noun, Latin adjective and Spanish adjective. I have seen similar tat before but longer, Audaces Fortuna Iuvat , (Fortune Favours the Bold) I can't work out the second word. (The Image Content is no longer accessible and has been removed).
  19. This week's news, so far: High five, gold star, 10 out of 10, whatever praise you can think of for Lora Logan, who has returned to work after signing a new contract with CBS News. For those that don't remember her, Lora Logan is the 60 Minutes reporter who was forcefully separated from her producer and bodyguard as she reported on the Arab Spring in Cairo’s Tahrir Square, surrounded by crowds celebrating the toppling of then-President Hosni Mubarak. Encircled by a group of up to 300 men, she was stripped, beaten and sexually assaulted. While we are at it, condolences to a young muslim girl, whose father has admitted to strangling her 19-year-old sister to death after she was caught shoplifting condoms to use with a man she had been forbidden from dating. Asadullah Khan, 51, used his bare hands to strangle his daughter Lareeb because she had brought “dishonour” to the family, the court in Germany heard. His wife Shazia Khan, 41, is also on trial for their daughter’s murder as she did not attempt to stop him. And condolences to the young German backpacker that was raped by a muslim asylum seeker, released into the community while his application was being considered. And lets not forget the two young women raped by a refugee from Afghanistan, already given a protection visa to stay in Australia. After raping one young women, he raped a second whilst 'out on bail' for the first offence. His excuse in court, he didn't understand the concepts of consensual and non-consensual sex. This is the type of scum we are allowing into our countries. And in case someone wants to comment that this is happening to women and children in their countries so we should be more sympathetic, here's my response in advance, another common Aussie expression, DILLIGAF (Do I Look Like I Give A Fuck). If your country is fucked, fix it, don't bring your shit to mine.
  20. Only a Marine can get away with a comment like that, even in Australia, 'cos even we know they are the only corp not there to support Infantry.
  21. Thought for the day, as in 'Will we ever learn?' Colonel Patrick Ryder, a spokesman for Central Command (CENTCOM), which is overseeing efforts against the Islamic State (IS) group in Iraq and Syria, said the fighters had handed over the gear in exchange for safe passage in the Al Nusra operating area, a group also known as Al-Qaeda in Syria. Irrelevant topic which is why I tried to avoid it. When I squash a cockroach I don't care what species it is as long as it's dead.
  22. Australia is considering softening its opposition to the Assad regime in Syria, with Foreign Minister Julie Bishop saying a political solution needs to be found to solve the country's deadly conflict. Ms Bishop is currently at the United Nations in New York and hinted at the major policy shift. "The fear that a number of countries have is that if the Assad regime were either removed or collapsed, it would create a vacuum, and one might find that it was filled by an even more diabolical presence than the Assad regime," she said. Ahead of the UN gathering, US Secretary of State John Kerry met with Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif on Saturday to discuss Syria. Washington refuses to accept a peace process that would leave Assad in power and so has backed and armed small "moderate" rebel groups. But that strategy appeared in tatters after the Pentagon admitted the latest US-trained fighters to cross into Syria had given a quarter of their equipment to Al-Qaeda. (Haven't verified yet). Will we ever learn?
  23. This is what the Ford Performance Vehicles, the racing arm of Ford Australia, were running with. Sadly, as a result of cut backs etc, they shut down last year. 5.4L Modular "Boss" V8 Boss 290 Based on the cast iron 4V DOHC Boss short blocks sourced from Windsor, Ontario, the Boss engines include some locally sourced parts such as intake and pistons coupled with DOHC 4-valve cylinder heads from the Mustang Cobra R engine. FPV named this uniquely tuned engine as the Boss 290 because of its power output. It produced 290 kW (394 PS; 389 bhp) at 5500 rpm and 520 N·m (380 lb·ft) of torque at 4500 rpm. Boss 302 For the BFII FPV GT Cobra special edition, the Boss 302 was created. The GT Cobra motor produced 405 hp (302 kW) and 398 lb·ft (540 N·m)). Boss 315 For the FG MkI, the 5.4 was further tuned to produce 315 kW (428 PS; 422 bhp) and 551 N·m (406 lb·ft). FPV achieved this through a new camshaft profile, new camshaft timing, strengthened piston assembly and a higher compression ratio (10.5:1 to 10.8:1).[15] 5.0L Coyote "Miami" V8 In October 2010 FPV retired the 5.4L Boss V8, in favour of a new supercharged 5.0L V8. The project, codenamed "Miami", is based on the Coyote 5.0 litre V8 and is a supercharged alloy quad cam engine.[16] It has cost FPV $40 million and has taken 3 years to develop. The engine was offered in three versions, Boss 315, 335 and finally 351. Boss 315 Used in the entry level GS sedan and ute, the Boss 315 produces 315 kW (428 PS; 422 bhp) at 5750 rpm and 545 N·m (402 lb·ft) between 2000 - 5500 rpm. Boss 335 Available in the GT range, the Boss 335 kW (455 PS; 449 bhp) between 5750 - 6000 rpm and 570 N·m (420 lb·ft) between 2200 - 5500 rpm. The latter is offered in the GT range, which includes GT, GT-P, and GT-E. Fuel economy was improved dropping 4.5% to 13.7 L/100 km for the auto and 13.6 L/100 km for the manual. Boss 351 This is a specially tuned variant of the 5.0L unique to the GT-F, similar to the Cobra before it, the 351 is a reference to the Cleveland engines offered in the Falcon in the past. The engine is capable of up to 15 per cent more power and torque, equivalent to over 400 kW and 650Nm, when the conditions allow. 4.0L "Barra" I6 Barra 270 For the BA/BF F6 Typhoon and Tornado models, the boost from the Garrett GT3540 turbocharger was increased over the Barra 240, producing 270 kW (362 hp) @ 5250 rpmTorque: 550 N·m (406 lb·ft) @ 2000-4000 rpm Barra 310 With the FG series,a larger turbocharger and intercooler were added. This is the most powerful engine with 310 kW (416 hp) @ 5250 rpmTorque: 565 N·m (417 lb·ft) @ 1950-5200 rpm (and the first to produce more than 100 hp (75 kW) per litre) manufactured in Australia. As a result, the F6's rolling acceleration from 80 km/h (50 mph) to 120 km/h (75 mph) is 2.8 seconds. Not likely to succeed but trying to finalise a deal with a bloke at the moment for a ute, similar to this one, my offers $9,000 below his asking price but he's been trying to sell for 5 months. Canary yellow with black trim and the 5.4 L V8, guaranteed to attract the attention of every cop within 100 kms:
