I agree. We are discussing the issue. I personally HATE the rules, and I wrote most of the damn things. When Woof was the only mod, CC was a lot smaller, and if a member said anything that pissed off the Big Dog, they got hammered. Generally speaking, the members were old school BBS and early Internet experienced, so they used common sense when they posted stuff. Somewhere along the line, we needed to have a few rules and guidelines because a new flock of children showed up who were educated at 4chan/b. I will take up your suggestion with the other Mods and we'll render some sort of rewrite or revisions. I'd rather simplify the Rules, but most of our members are illiterate and cannot read the rules or follow directions, so our endeavors will probably not be improved regardless of how we proceed.

The biggest source of information about the regional location in the past were the phone numbers on take-out pizza boxes and the time stamps -- that was back when RLC had them. That information was viewed on RLC itself, so it's not against the rules. Wild-eyed obviously ridiculous speculation and humorous comments are also acceptable.

Mostly correct, but country and regional locations are exempt. Anything more specific is against the rules. We do this because there have been stalkers in the past who scared and jeopardized the tenants' safety and their careers (many of these people actually have real jobs). We are not here to furnish stalkers with such information.

I lost that argument long ago. The policy was made for people who use mobile media and don't like to scroll forever when they just want tiny naked pix on their devices. We'll accept thank-you comments in the pix section, and I don't mind pix that illustrate a point in the comment section.

I suggest the jack-off stuff go here: Even with two big screens, and real keyboard, and a scrolling mouse, it's a pain-in-the-ass to scroll through. Plus, it pisses off her and the fans that respect her as a woman, and they fight, and that in turn pisses off Mods. Thanks.

That's well said. I understand. All the deacons of the church would like all the basic elements physical union, but they also want the mind-meld. They yearn to discover how her mind works. And they are as frustrated as the guys who just want to fuck her with their dicks. Procreational instincts are always in the background, even when the most moral and elevated intentions are in involved.

Quick easy poll: Does Leora really want to be on RLC? Would she rather live somewhere else in the world and have a "normal" non-Internet life? Would she rather engage in RLC or live where she can paint, read, and take care of distraught animals?

Let the church services be held in the Church of the Goddess without such distractions. It upsets the Goddess when she read the comments (if she still does) and angers her zealots and followers until they turn into vigilantes and hang the insulting son-of-a-bitch. This results in food fights, of which we Mods hate. Let the Church of the Goddess services continue without distractions, and post really negative comments here instead -- please. We're not hibernating. With no free cams, RLC non-subscribers have little to talk about except opinions and idle (and sometimes ridiculous speculations.) It was better before RLC pulled out of Russia, of course.There are no rules regarding fantasizing over an attractive tenant or expressing it in a discussion thread. We Mods have bigger fish to fry. I usually just scroll past anything I think is boring; but not everybody has the same opinion about the value of comments as I have. So, let it roll.

You are correct. However, idle speculation, even if ridiculous or absurd, is just a guess by the poster, and is acceptable. And if you can't say something nice about a tenant, you should explain why you feel they misbehaved. Specific real information about the tenants that could harm them or affect their lives outside of the apartments should be kept to yourself and perhaps your PM friends. Also, if a poster irritates you, put them on your Ignore list or just scroll past them. It's rather simple to do either one.

This again. Geeze. At least it's in a appropriate section... If you don't like a poster's comment, they can easily be put on an ignore list. Or -- do like was done on Usenet and BBS systems in the old days: just scroll past them. Simple. If you react to an infuriating comment with your own reply, then you are violating a rule of all Forums: Don't feed the trolls. The apartment threads are for discussing the tenants, not our own personal vanity or by perpetuating vindictive flame wars and feuds. We have a topic for that. And harping on the same belabored opinion is not conducive to any sort of constructive discussion. We don't ban any fucking "dirty" words here. Everybody: and this is for EVERYBODY, please just stay on topic for the section's topic, don't flame bait, and don't feed the trolls, or we Mods will get pissed. We hate dealing with this shit. The damn demographics changed on us...it needs more quality posters to revive it.

I don't have much time to get bored. Too many fires to put out. If I could I'd hang out at the saloon at Old Dudes like I once did in my CC youth when things got slow. Everybody over there is really nice and they enjoy sharing the finer things in life.

Most of our members live in mommy's basement so they can't afford the huge outlay of $20 USD a year to become Premium members. Poor fools. They don't know what they're missing. They don't even get invited to cruises to Barcelona on the CamCaps Corporate Yacht. In truth, the majority of our membership is asleep by evening hours, US Pacific time, and there are few if any active members between here and India with the exception of a few Aussies that are not passed out or sleeping. Things get toasty around 22:00 and 06:00 Pacific Time because the French wake up to have a smoke and a glass of wine and they log into CC to start off their day so they can bother Moos with witty remarks or trivial complaints written in a Provincial Latin language that apparently does utilize anything except vowel sounds. Then the Germans wake up for their mugs of lager and strudel, and the Brits wake up for their ale and left-over fish and chips, and then they all sign on to CC instead of going to work because they're Europeans and they get long vacations. About 4 hours later the Americans wake up, quaff either home-made Yuban or expensive Starbucks coffee, and head off to work and sign-into CC while sitting for hours in traffic. I think that pretty much explains it.

We Mods spend most of our personal time having to deal with reading between the lines, so our members who actually want to discuss things logically or objectively can do so. If members prefer to partake in, or witness kick fighting, they are free to do so in the appropriate area. That's why we have Rants & Flames. "Should we keep Rants & Flames?" is a legitimate concept for discussion among the members, especially those who don't want to waste their time watching kick fighting.

I think we're going to leave this here because the topic is valid in and of itself. Most people don't know WHY it was asked because most members just scroll pass over feudish comments or past people with whom they disagree and they have no idea Amy3 and Jabbath don't get along. And if I wasn't a mod, I'd ignore it, too. Personal animosities don't belong in the apartment threads or in Polls and Surveys. They belong in the back of the school yard over at Rants and Flames. That's why we're not going to get rid of that Forum. So please everybody, calm down. We're not here to please Snowflakes or restrict opinions: we just want comments posted in the appropriate place.
