They do get paid for archive and timeline views while they are on the site. After that, nope! The problem with trying to make quality videos for later views is that there are not enough people interested to watch such a video. Yes, people watch the archive, but not as many as they do live. Subs are far more interested to see what is going to happen then what has happened. Also, if a user has access to fast forward, they do. Users skimming the archives and timelines doesn't pay very well.
